Great credit union… great staff excellent manager… I’m very happy with this credit union

I absolutely LOVE TruGrocer! I have been a member for nearly 20 years and I’ve never lived anywhere near a branch and never even visited one, but they have always treated me with a personal relationship, friendly local bank on a first name basis approach. When every other financial institution disappoints or your looking for the best rate they’re always top notch and head and shoulders above the rest. For countless years anytime I’ve had a question or needed anything I pick up the phone and call the Fullerton branch and it never ceases to amaze me that in no time I’m connected with the ever amazing Lisa, she is so awesome and knowledgeable and always ready to help. In a time where we’re all just surrounded by large banks where no one knows anyone it just so amazing to have such a great relationship with such an amazing place.

Worst service I’ve ever encountered, francie doesn’t seem to know her job is customer service, and what that entails… she’s been there forever yet can’t get accurate information. Story and stipulations seem to change. .at her convenience? Odd u work for us sweety…

HORRIBLE CREDIT UNION… Paperless world and they want you to fax or mail paper documents. I will finally close my account today, after a few years of drama trying to setup phone teller, online banking, PIN and more. The funny thing is the clerks on the phone sound like they are in shock when you call. Saying really that cant be true. What a nightmare! with all their 1 star reviews you would think management would step up and plug into the credit union online matrix AKA CUSTOMER SERVICE! Unilocal should have a negative rating — –100

I drove 30 minutes here to find out they’re closed due to a power outage. I stood at the door waiting for someone to come out so I could ask if there was anywhere else I could deposit money since my bills are coming out in two days. Obviously nobody answered the phone, probably the power outage but then as I was sitting in my car one of the tellers let out a customer and looked at me and walked back in. I knew someone was there so I went again to knock on the door and no answer. I usually get good service, quickly in and out but this was such an inconvenience and seems like the teller was avoiding me. Thinking about finding a bank closer to home with multiple locations.

I closed my account with trugrocer in Fullerton, Blanca said she would send me a check for all but 5.00 because I needed to send a signed document to close the account. I did receive the check with a $ 7.00 less, $ 2.00 for the statement that ends in September and $ 5.00 less till I close the accout. I never got the check for the $ 5.00 so I called Trugrocer in Boise since I didn’t want to deal with the Fullerton branch. I spoke to Norma and she looked at the account and said she did not understand about the charges and said she was going to call the Fullerton branch. Norma came back to the phone with an attitude and said it was costing $ 5.00 to close the account, so have a nice day. Fact of the matter is, it costed me a total of $ 7.00 to find out what kind of establishment I was dealing with, pretty cheep I think. Consumers beware, watch your dollars they’re finding ways of sneaking them from behind your back.

Just got my statement from TruGrocer Federal Credit Union and noticed they are charging $ 2.00 each quarter for paper statements. They claimed it was in a previous newsletter so make sure you are reading your news letters front to back each quarter. My mistake. I called the day I received the statement with the $ 2.00 charge to sign up for e-​statements. I was informed I could do that but I would be charged an additional $ 2.00 for my next statement as well, since it will not have gone into effect in time. I felt this was low for a credit union and decided to close the account.
