I have been going to this studio for over 6 years. I love the style of Yoga and am amazed how I learn something new each class. The teachers will work with you and modify any pose to your ability, and don’t mind if you ask questions! Namaste!

The last check-in was my 3rd class. I do enjoy this place because of the attention that you get. That being said, it’s comparing it to your Gym-Yoga classes. I prefer the smaller classes at Yoga Tree because you can ask questions and it doesn’t feel like cardio-ga. You can only go through the sun salutations so fast. I feel like the gym-yoga classes don’t come over to correct your form because they assume most people are new/experienced and you can fit so much into one hour before the cycling class comes barreling in. I had the groupon/livingsocial deal where it was $ 39 unlimited. I however, take part in Pilates and Capoeira other places during the week. Even still, it was a great introductory price. Their normal prices are still pretty good.

When I first did my review, I was a newbie and didn’t know much about yoga. I still don’t but I after 8 months, I am still taking the class every Monday, and seem to like it. The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 star is the location moved to Commonwealth and Pomona, and I’m not fond of the new location. Usually parking is not bad, but during the holidays, or when the bars have parties, parking can be a pain. Its located next to the bus and train depot, so I’m a little cautious about my surroundings. As for the yoga, Maria is great. She gently pushes me to increase my learning, and I’m learning its about stretching not about chanting. I’m getting better with each new week. They provide mats and props if you don’t have your own, and the students are friendly, willing to lend a hand during class.

This is a beautiful Studio with excellent, knowledgable instructors who care about your well being and spend time on each asana. The classes are not intimidating yet they are challenging. The teachers demonstrate the poses and then teach us how to do them. The studio is very clean and functional. This sudio has unique offerings such as ropes on the wall and a back bender bench. It is wonderful to hang from the ropes or arch over the back bender bench. My back and my whole being always feel so rejuvinated and relaxed after class. These are just a few reasons why I have to give this studio and instructors a 5 star rating… they really know their yoga. Namaste
