I have been going here for a little over 2 years now. This place has amazing food! I’m obsessed! Their Chicken shawarma bowl is amazing. Different taste than other Mediterranean food. Very delicious, light on the stomach. I just wish there were a location closer to my house.

My fiancé and I were visiting Fullerton and stopped here for dinner. We both were pleasantly surprised. We shared a plate. The chicken, beef, and lamb with two sides a drink and warm pita bread. They serve good sized chunks of meat! It was seasoned just right and I loooove the yogurt and cucumber dip. :p the prices are very affordable! Too bad I don’t live in the area. Wish there was one in LA. Oh well I guess Ima visit Fullerton often.

Pretty good food. Actually very much reminded me of what I ate growing up at home as far as the rice and hommos and tabouli go. Falafel was awesome! Not the best I’ve had with their chicken, but still delicious. I’ll head back when I have an itch for some great food!

You know I come here a lot. About once a week. Today pissed me off. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and they guy gave me left over chicken from a previous order. That chicken should have been in the previous customer plates but since I ordered a wrap he shorted the previous customer who ordered two chicken shawarma plates and then I felt like shit getting his chicken. Typically I order it, he cuts the shawarma and then heats in a pan. Today I just saw him try to divide the 2 plate chicken into — 2 chicken entrees and a wrap. Cheap ass bastards ! And yes I did get left over chicken from the pan. My fu&$king chicken is hard as hell!

One of my best friends came to visit me from San Francisco, & we were taken to this restaurant by my brother. I was very impressed by the freshness of the food and how delicious the mixed grill was. We started to share dishes, I liked the taste of everything, the rice was soft, I enjoyed the TAHINI side & the garlic. But when I tried the staffed grape leaves, pammmm! It was GREAT. I am not a vegetarian, but I wish to be one in order to force myself to have this dish once a week. Definitely one of my best mixed grill meal ever. Thank you bro and the lovely staff who looked after us so well.

My favorite mediaterranean food in OC. The food is always fresh, tastes delicious and the portions are generous. Service is great too. I think the main reason why I love it here is because the food tastes and looks super fresh, feels like eating a homemade meal. Highly recommend the shawarma entrees!

I never noticed there were actually a lot of different Mediterranean/Middle Eastern places to eat in Fullerton until I started looking on Unilocal.Found this place from all the reviews on Unilocal and Zewadeh Mediterranean Grill is pretty tasty and I’m so glad I found it. We came here during lunch time and the place is pretty small with a few tables and chairs but we wanted this for to-go. So we ordered two Chicken kabob plates which were $ 8.99 and they have bowls for $ 5.00 which we ordered a Beef swarma one. All this for three people it was a lot of good and delicious food. The Chicken kabobs were really moist and the rice is nice and fluffy and you get to pick two sides of your choosing so that is always nice. Our meal came out fast as well so I’m super happy and when we got back home our food was still nice and warm. Portion size is huge so between three people we were really happy and satisfied. I can’t wait to come back here again to try the other things that they have to offer on the menu. Oh yeah and we also ordered the home made baklava which is a dessert that is lightly sweet and has a great texture.

It’s a good thing the company tonight was awesome because the food was disappointing. Maybe it was a bad night? The chicken shawarma plate barely had any meat on it and it was dry(mostly greasy rice). They also skimped on the tabouli side dish. The garlic sauce looked sparse as if someone had already eaten out of it. The dolmades were overcooked and mushy. Yuck. The yogurt dip and hummus was good and the first time was amazing but I don’t think I’ll come back again and risk inconsistent quality when there are other, more satisfying places.

Ok honestly, I was planning to get Waba Grill right next door but my friend wanted to try this place out. After ordering, my friend had to take a dump so he went to the restroom. 20 min later, my friend came out and the food was still not ready. We sat around for a few more minutes and then I asked the cashier, «Almost done?» He replied, «2 more minutes.» I was not impressed with the slow service. On the other hand, the food was actually good. I ordered the chicken kabab entrée with a side order of hummus and fries. The garlic paste is surprisingly strong but it gives a «kick» to satisfy your taste buds.

Quality food and the portions are good! I got the Chicken Schwarma with cucumber salad and hummus. Let me tell you this, BESTHUMMUSEVER! It was put together in perfection with a nice garlic after taste at the end. As for the chicken, it was moist and tender that wasn’t at all salty! The rice was a good blend with the chicken. It was about $ 9 and the portion was pretty dang big! Y’all should check this place out :)

This is as real as it gets, you could get different dishes at a fancier restaurant, but the flavor and spices are on point. Dolmas(grape leaves) were awesome, the tabbuleh was loaded with lime juice(as its meant to be) what made it perfect, pita bread was ok but the two tahini(garbanzo and sun dried tomato) went perfect with it, the kebbeh was my favorite out of everything I ate. It’s my first time here so I had what someone should always have when they try Mediterranean food for the first time. Employees are awesome as well, really good attitude, they know the menu very well and know the real names of the things they have(not only the American version of the name) I wouldn’t give it one«$» but maybe two«$$», prices range from $ 9 to $ 17, although wraps are $ 6 They need to step up their pita game though, it’s not bad but it could be better. Definitely try the kebbeh, insanely good.

Positives: Friendly cashier Tasty rice Falafel is pretty good Pickles are good Negatives: Hummus is a bit bland… needs salt or something Tahini sauce was tasteless… usually one of my favorite parts but it literally tasted like nothing from here Pita bread is very low quality Price is a bit high and the portion isn’t that big I really wanted to love this place… but I am not sure it is worth the drive between classes for dinner. I could come back and try other things… but for me, if the hummus and tahini aren’t that great it isn’t worth it.

ABSOLUTELY amazing food. We ordered the Chicken Kabab main entrée and were shocked at the flavor packed in every bite of the tender chicken– it has a little spicy kick too. The Sundried chili tomato hummus was to die for, my friend even wanted to buy some to take home. The staff is also amazing, I mentioned something about their falafels when I asked for some hot sauce and a few minutes later a waiter brought us out two and they were incredible. Moist, crispy and basically perfect. Overall great culinary experience. The location is not the best with only two tables outside. I recommend getting it to go and eating at the park nearby!

Great food and exceptional service. I came in with a groupon on a sunday morning alittle after they opened and there were customers at the cashier handling their catering orders so the cook came out to me with a notepad to take my order. He was so nice and helpful and unexpected because I had told him immediately I had a groupon and I know that alot of places can be rude to you once they realize you’re not spending more money on them. I ordered a chicken schwarma plate & a beef schwarma plate with extra garlic and tahini sauce. My total came out to $ 20.19 and with my $ 20 groupon, I only had to pay the difference. +Food — Both the chicken and beef were tender and flavorful, the garlic sauce came with the chicken plate and it is super strong but tasty. The tahini sauce came with the beef schwarma plate and I recommend getting extra because it tastes so good when poured over the beef and rice. The sides I got were double the tabouli, mutabal, and sundried tomato hummus. I didn’t enjoy the tabouli because it was flavorless. The hummus was pretty good but did have a strong garlic flavor, or maybe it was because I also had a lot of the garlic sauce beforehand. I really enjoyed the mutabal, it was creamy and went well with the pita bread that comes with your entrée. I would definitely recommend this place.

#100Reviews2015 — Review No. 25 Met up here after a Unilocal search to have a quick bite to eat with our friend Lauren prior to a night of karaōke madness. Small, cozy interior, not too busy, and very clean and neat, with standard American pop music playing in the background. Great service, very polite, even given our group of 10 or so hungry, hungry people. The menu is pretty basic, but very tasty. Falafel, shawarma, and hummus. Fries also available, as are sammiches. This restaurant does have a spectacularly tasty red chili hummus, this smoky, slightly spicy goodness that you’ll be fighting your tablemates to the death for. Order extra. Falafels were tasty, as were the pickled veggies and regular hummus. Everything tasted very fresh and well made, and I can see myself coming back here as often as possible. Garlic and chili sauces are available on request. Highly recommend!

The food was great. I got the chicken shawarma platter($ 8.49) with sun dried tomato hummus, pita, and tabbouleh with a drink for $ 10.08.The chili sun dried tomato hummus was awesome and their garlic sauce/paste wasn’t overpowering but gave great flavor. The sliced chicken had tasty spices and was well cooked along with the rice that was underneath. The tables were really sticky and the restroom was a mess. The staff was nice and my order came quick. They take card. Located in the same plaza as Fresh and Easy, next to Waba Grill.

Unilocal Check-in: 10% off each entrée. I love Mediterranean food and if you combine that with less than $ 10, then I’m SOLD! I got the food to go and the guy who works there is pretty friendly and able to help you if you have any questions. I ended up ordering the beef kabob plate($ 9.49) and chicken kebab plate($ 8.99). Each entrée comes with your choice of sides, and I had their hummus and salad. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The beef was good. I loved the garlic spread and the hummus together. SODELICIOUS. What is awesome is that you get scrumptious food for less than $ 10. You can’t beat that along with the 10% check-in offer on Unilocal!Highly recommend! =)
