This is not an establishment I would ever recommend. Too many bad haircuts to ever go back. Make the drive into town!

There is always one bad apple, she works here, I found the rest of the stylists to be delightful. It’s a bag of gossip in a time warp sort of way combined with superb talent. After 2 cuts and color with the bad apple it occurred to me I don’t need her in my life or in my hair. Had to go back 10 days later to have another stylist remove the 1 ½ inch piece of hair that was longer than the other side of my head, I was weary of tilting my head to make both sides look even. Cuticle scissors I’ve done that number, not. I own my head, call me OCD, am not into any funky looks, Melissa came to the rescue and trimmed up the annoying side of my head. Have appointment in a few weeks for a color and cut with a kind stylist. The manicurist, Mary is a sweetheart so the experience is a win-win. The PMS Queen could have wrecked this but I put on my big girl panties and took the high road. I bring my own wine for an afternoon treat, they welcome you with coffee in the a.m. Comfortable, competent and convenient, pleasant vibe. Easy parking — save the car wash, birds will crown it with poop.

I love this little hidden treasure and am a little selfish as to not share, but here goes. It’s located behind Las Flores Mex food in a little frame cottage under some big shade trees. The inside matches the outside. Yep, this place reminds me of Truvy’s salon in the movie, Fried Green Tomatoes. They also have a great selection of unique gift and assessory items. The stylists are all personable and I have been very pleased with my stylist, DANITA. They say they are stylists are stylists, not miracle workers. but she is!
