McDonald’s

Friendly staff, and thanks for making fresh French fries, they were hot, nuggets were good as well :)

This is far and away the finest McDonalds on the eastern seaboard. Extremely friendly staff; clean, dare I say charming, interior. Superior iced coffee. I don’t know what it is about the Fonda McDonalds but it is a head above the rest. And I mean that it is the best place to get a burger in Fonda. I don’t know what they do differently than the rest of the horrifying corporate chain, but it seems like someone there cares, someone there believes in a kind of hospitality mission. This is rare enough in general, it’s almost unheard of in a chain most noted for the existential terror of its homogeny.

Bad attitude! Cheap with their condiments! Asking for an extra lemon is asking for too much! Come on guys! Don’t work in the fast food industry if u have bad people skills! So sick if it!!!

This is one of the best McDonald’s I have ever gone to. I stopped by while taking the I-​90 west to Buffalo. The restaurant itself is very spacious with lots of seating, though it was very empty when I was there. There were two managers and one regular crew member working at the counter, despite there being no line. The older male manager was extremely helpful and friendly, giving many suggestions from the dollar menu, as well as the regular menu.
I ended up getting a McChicken (aka Junior Chicken for my fellow Canadians) with tartar sauce instead of McChicken sauce, and a Grilled Onion Cheddar burger. Both were made correctly, though I’d definitely recommend onion lovers to add extra fresh onions to the Grilled Onion Cheddar because the grilling leaves the onions tasting a bit muted. I also got a $ 1 sweet tea, my favourite thing about American McDonald’s!
The soft drinks are self-​serve, located beside the napkins, ketchup and straws. Sweet tea (and unsweetened tea) refills are available from the counter. When I got my refill of sweet tea, the second manager on shift (mid 20s female) was very polite. This McDonald’s definitely exemplifies «service with a smile».
The tables were clean (as expected — there were only a few other customers), as well as the men’s restroom. The sink and soap dispenser were both automatic, which is always a plus. The restaurant also had free wifi which definitely came in handy, since my T-​Mobile phone only had slow 2G data in Fultonville.
