Always enjoyed here and my SO and I always try to try a new sushi when we are here! There specialty rolls are pretty well done! Service was a tad bit slow…

Usually yummy. Today at lunch they lost my order. Waitress didn’t talk to us or update us. 30 min later we left hungry. We did get our appetizer. They shorted us on the amount. 5 pieces of food instead of six. There are two other options nearby.

Love this place! One of the best in Central Ohio. Glad the recipes are still the same here! They moved just across the parking lot. Looks clean and fresh!

Great sushi! My husband and I ate there last night and enjoyed each roll we tried. The Resource roll was our favorite. It was delicious and spicy and crunchy. Their seaweed salad was also really tasty. Service was fast. Prices are about what you would expect for sushi of that quality. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t be fooled. Super delicious!

Love Mr Sushi, it’s by far one of our favorite go to’s in Columbus! Service has always been fantastic, the food has always been great and we’ve never had a bad experience. We typically get carry out which is most convenient for us since we have two small children. Carry out sometimes take awhile, but when we go in to pick up there always busy ! We also have only been to the Gahanna location but have heard good things about Dublin.

Service is always really fast, i order to-go and dine in Bec the food is pretty good. The chefs are really cool especially if you decide to sit at the sushi bar. The kanikatsu is a really good roll. They definitely have a lot of sushi if you eat based upon your mood. Can’t wait until construction is over. The only downside is how compact the parking is currently

Review based on California Roll only(see photo.) So stingy with the crab and avocado– the roll is almost all cucumber! Sticky rice was dry and even the seaweed was tough. Best aspect were the toasted sesame seeds. Disappointing as I want to like Mr. Sushi, the service was friendly and the location is convenient. Based on the other roll photos I see here, seems like ingredients are used sparingly.

The shrimp yaka soba was excellent, my wife ate half of it so we ordered another serving to take home for later. We also had a California roll and a spicy scallop roll. Both were yummy, but the best part of the meal was diffidently the shrimp yaka soba. Highly recommended it.

Don’t be alarmed by the fact that the previous building has been flattened— they are all the way at the end of the strip! I love Mr Sushi for an easy, delicious and filling lunch for a great value. Salmon with teriyaki glaze and spectacular vegetables(served on a sizzling plate giving an incredible grilled flavor). Lunches come with a small salad and miso soup. I haven’t been in for dinner in a while, and I do love their sushi, but the bi bim bop is hard to pass up!

If I could leave a negative star review that would be more accurate of this place. Here are some of the highlights of my trip to hell(aka mr sushi): –they gave us menus which were apparently«not yet in use» so everything we picked out wasn’t available. Why give these menus out? –no liquor license but gave us a wine list(??) –my dining partners meal came out 30 minutes before mine –no refills –gave us someone else’s credit card and Bill folio –waiter was MIA after taking our order(no refills, no checking in on us) –food generally tasted very strange(shrimp was slimey/other nigiri tasted rotten) AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!! Save your money. McDonalds has better service and food.

I met Mike G here for lunch yesterday and we found that it is in the same plaza, but in a different space. The L-shaped strip mall has been altered(part demolished) and the restaurant is in a very similar space on one end of the still standing side. They are not yet able to serve alcohol, but they have the same delicious 3-course lunch(our fav Salmon Teriyaki) although the price has been raised $ 2.00. No worries, because it is still worth it.

The whole strip center is gone. Demolished. Where did Mr. Sushi go? Are they relocating or just gone.

Two stars because service was slow and staff did not seem very friendly when first arrived. She seemed annoyed and irritated that we came in at 8:30pm when they close at 10! Walked in and nobody greeted us until moments later. Usually when you walk into a sushi place the sushi chefs would greet u but nope not even a hello. No refill on drinks what so ever and didn’t bother to ask. Sushi was decent but I’ve had better. I miss the old mr sushi when it was better quality and service. I won’t be back… and it wasn’t even busy!

Someone recently posted a picture of Mr. Sushi’s Teriyaki Salmon With Grilled Vegetables and it looked really good. So I forwarded it to my fellow seafood fan and lunch partner, Anna H., who agreed that it looked pretty interesting. Lunch plans were made, the date arrived and so there we were sitting in a booth enjoying our lunch together. I really wish I’d known about this restaurant earlier. It’s a clean, contemporary sushi restaurant tucked in the middle of a nondescript strip mall, and it’s worth seeking out. That Teriyaki Salmon that I mentioned? It’s one of their many lunch specials and let me tell you, it was excellent. It’s a perfectly cooked, tender, juicy salmon filet sitting on a bed of fresh grilled vegetables. You also get a fresh small salad, a steaming cup of miso soup and a side of rice included with this meal and it’s only $ 7.95**. It’s a deal folks and with the attentive service and nice surroundings, well, I’m a fan of this place, so is Anna H. We’ll be going back there again soon. **They have now raised their price to $ 9.95.

A diamond in the rough. I kept this place as a secret and now everyone has caught on. Amazing sushi specials, especially during lunch. Quick service and fast food preparation. In and out within 30 min. The lunch specials come with a soup and salad along with two rolls, all for ! 8.95. Hits the spot, not to full.

What a very pleasant surprise! I had been having a hankering for some sushi for quite some time so Mr. Sushi seemed like it was worth a trip. I was seated promptly in their very bright, minimally decorated dining area. It is clean, bright, and pleasant, but nondescript in terms of décor. I did not feel out of place in my jean shorts and t-shirt. There were several different types of diners, from the just out of work business types in nicer clothes to the full families with smaller kids. It was refreshing because sushi places can sometimes cater to more the date crowd. The menu is quite expansive(and reasonably priced). They did have a large amount of hibachi and teryaki dishes, I saw several other diners getting some very tasty looking dishes. I went for some of my favorite comfort foods: agedashi tofu: small, bite sized, and well seasoned. The broth had this delicious smokey aftertaste that was so pleasant vegetable rolls: they had a large assortment and some unique ones(love the use of mango). all were reasonably priced and very tasty. I loved the fact, too, my hot tea came in a full pot. I’m a HUGE tea drinker so the ability to simply pour my own(and down the entire pot myself) is always a plus. I did see their wine list, it seemed decent, but my go to drink with sushi is always green tea. Overall, I liked the ambiance(not fussy, clean, simple), the service(incredibly nice, professional) and the food. I’ll definitely be back soon.

I have been here three times now. The first time — I thought, «yea — I can dig it». Second and third time — maybe I hadn’t brought a shovel, I dunno. The dumpling soup — good. Very hit and miss on the rolls… spring rolls/tuna tataki — something not quite right. Sashimi — is always a win for me… yellowtail was not as fresh as I anticipated once but other selections were decent. The restaurant is always clean and service pretty attentive. Décor is on point.
