Pretty basic and bland sushi. I put it almost on the same level as grocery store sushi, but more expensive. It’s not bad, but it’s not great. It’s just OK, and very simple.

This IS such an excellent idea with excellent execution! Easy concept — it’s Chipotle in sushi form… pick your wrap — soy or seaweed, pick your rice — white or brown, then pick your protein — vegetarian/vegan option as well… then pick as many veggies and toppings you want. They are green and health conscious… they offer soft drinks in glass bottles made with REAL sugar, and offer a variety of house made lemonades and friends with agave syrup. and strongly encourage recycling. The staff are so meticulous… they are sure to cut by husband’s vegetarian roll prior to my meat roll. I am someone who loves odd combinations, especially with sushi, so this is right up my alley.

I am not normally a sushi fan, or seafood fan really, but this place is awesome. The steak roll with the spicy mayo on top makes for a great, quick, quality meal that is different from most places. Their ingredients are top notch quality and they offer many unique options. I get a lot of brownie points when I go with my wife but I actually really enjoy it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different for a lunch or dinner.

Laid back atmosphere. Modern and Eco-friendly design. At first I was a little hesitant because I thought it would not be good quality food but… I was wrong! Fresh ingredients, good choices, and perfect for that picky eater. My only complaint was that the worker was kind of rough in making my food but other than that I’d give the place a B+

I may never eat grocery store sushi again! Fusian occupies the nice spot between grocery store sushi and higher end places at an attractive price point. I’ve been hearing raves from fellow foodies, but was hesitant to try it because of the Chipotle-style ordering. Could it really be good, I wondered? And it is good! On my visit I had the spicy salmon with sweet potato, asparagus, and cucumber and veggie roll with practically all the veggies and cream cheese. Topped both rolls with tempura crunch; spicy mayo on veggie and sweet soy on spicy salmon. I wish the salmon was spicier, but the texture and taste was good. Tbh, you could probably get one roll and a side(seaweed salad!) for a full meal. I was struggling to finish both and in fact took half a roll home. Quality, value, and ease of ordering were top-notch and excited to visit again!

I like this place. I think for a meal a roll and a half would suffice. I had one salmon and one veggie roll. I loved the sweet potato, cream cheese and asparagus veggie roll concoction I made with sweet soy sauce. Each roll is between 7 – 8 $ and its a good quick option. I went to the Easton location which is away from the main part of the mall on the side where REI and Costco are. My friend and I walked but its about 15 minutes from the Easton movie theater. Its a quick place to get relatively healthy food after a busy day of shopping/errands.

Love this place, when I just want to get a quick roll and enjoy it at home. Staff is friendly, food is fresh. Just an all around great place.

Awesome sushi and great concept!!! The sushi was fresh and we had many options to choose from. The staff was friendly and I liked that I could personalize the toppings and sides. A must try!!! I’ll be back.

Who doesn’t like making their own sushi. You can pick all your favorite stuff and put it into one very delightful roll. Price is very reasonable. Me and my fiancé got two rolls, two soups, and a drink for around $ 20. Some recommended improvements: I would love more labeling on the main menu. As a first timer it took me a few minutes to understand how to read the menu.(Make Your Own Sushi) in big bold letter above the menu, then(Pick 1, Pick 1, Pick Any, Pick Any, Sides) would help give the less sociable customers instruction. Overall I love it and will be back!

Atmosphere– really clean design. High ceiling and outdoor seating Food– you can split the protein so I got half smoked salmon and half salmon. It came out good and quite tasty. Good for a fast meal. Service– the employees were full of smiles! And extremely tentative

I won’t go into as much detail about Fusian since there are many reviews already telling you that Fusian is the Chipotle of sushi. I will tell you why they are awesome if you are vegan! First, I love that they have all of the proteins and veggies in separate areas and separate containers. They have the tofu placed towards the front which is AWESOME because it means that there is little chance of a piece of fish being dropped accidentally in the tofu. Oh! And the tofu? Super tasty! The staff knows their product well and doesn’t mind answering questions. They are REALLY good about helping you if you are vegan! For example: The person handling your rice, etc will make sure that they handle your roll for the entire process! No change of gloves needed and no worrying that the next person will forget that you are vegan. They will hand cut your roll at the back counter with a clean knife rather than using the machine to avoid cross contamination. They know exactly what vegan is and will let you know that things like the eel sauce is safe because it doesn’t contain any actual fish.(By the way, it is called that because it pairs well with eel but it is actually just a thick sweet soy dressing.) I love that they don’t have a soda fountain and that all of their utensils are compostable. I very highly recommend giving them a try! Oh, and just like Chipotle, if you want a little something extra in your roll, just ask! There is no extra charge to have a little more avocado but my guess is there may be a charge for extra protein.

Amazeballz! There’s a machine that flattens your rice on a wrapper and another machine that slices your sushi roll into 10 pieces. In between you get to pick exactly what goes in your roll – protein & veggies. Top it off with sauces and masago and maybe a sprinkle of tempura or sesame seeds. It’s quite magical. #dreamscometruesushi I think I’m going to keep a diary of my concoctions every time I visit.

It’s dangerous that I live so close to this side of Easton… Anyway, I like sushi, I just don’t like nori that much. Fusian fixes that problem: soy wraps! I LOVE sushi from Fusian because I can make it exactly how I want it, and their drinks rock. How it works: Pick your paper: nori(seaweed) or soy Rice: white or brown Meat: crab sticks, tuna, shrimp, smoked salmon, ect., plus thinks like chicken and steak! Veggies: cream cheese, cucumber, avocado, jalepeno, green onion, carrot, other in-season choices. Toppings: everything, really, I get spicy mayo, sesame seeds, and tempura crunch with wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy on the side. Price is by protein, regardless of how much you put in your roll. High quality, fresh ingredients. There are some sides, too but you MUST get a drink. I love the agave lemonade, but there are ginger and honeydew options that are great. A little pricey, but totally worth it! Sushi lovers, skeptics, and first-timers – you can get creative, or play it safe. So many great options! Only negative is that seating is kind of limited/close together, but they do have some outdoor options.

Interesting spin… Chipotle meets Sushi rolls. You can get made to order rolls your way or made to order their way. We chose our way, and chose from the many choices of fresh veg and protein. They roll and cut. We also had a salad and miso soup. Both were on the good side of good. Try their array of choices of fresh juice drinks. Many flavors to choose and each would do fine with vodka added, which they don’t do. Nicely located in the new part of Easton. They have two other locations in Columbus. Servers were well trained, very helpful, and sharp looking. We’re fans.

Fusion is like Chipotle for sushi. You choose your wrap and everything you want in it and they create the roll in front of you. All the food items were very fresh when I visited an the staff was welcoming. What stood out to me was how they took care of my friend who is vegan. When she told them she wanted vegan options they took a moment to wipe down the prep area and rolled her sushi on a fresh mat. It was like the red carpet was rolled out for my friend. The experience I had at Fusion Easton was great. The only reason I rate it a 3 out of 5 is that, simply put, there is better sushi in vicinity for the same price point. But if you like the idea of customizing your roll or need a quick bite while out shopping, this may be a good place to check out.

It was our first time and the staff was great and patient as we made our way through the line and built our own sushi rolls. My husband and I both made our own rolls and split the shrimp tempura. We liked the ones we made more than suggested roll. They were very generous with the serving sizes and the prices are great! Right around $ 7 a roll for most of them.

There is no food that divides people quite like sushi. The people who love sushi swear by it(including myself) and the people who don’t, wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. Fusian is quickly becoming one of the go to places in Columbus that really takes the mystery out of sushi by giving you a hands on approach, prime ingredients selection and catering to your taste and sensibilities. For the opportunity to make traditional roles as well as some«not so» traditional… Fusian is DEFINITELY the place to go!

Fusian is a perfect way to introduce the sushi skeptics to the joys of eating sushi! Considering I’ve only been eating sushi for a few years now, I in no way declare myself to be an expert… I just know what combinations of flavors I like. I had the pleasure of meeting Zach, Josh and Steve, and hearing how they wanted to take the mystery out of sushi. There’s no intimidation, and the laid back vibe you get as soon as you walk through the doors was really inviting. With so many fresh items to chose from, you can truly create your own signature roll! We even got a child who’d never tried sushi until tonight wanting to come back… that says a lot. You can get full from just one roll, and the prices aren’t intimidating either. If you’re looking for just good sushi without all the high price and pretense of some other area restaurants, you really ought to give Fusian a try!

I went to Fusian for the first time tonight with my family and LOVED the food, atmosphere, brand and the owners. I am now a Fusian-evangelist and will be preaching the good word of rolls, rolls and more rolls. These are the high points: * The food is incredibly fresh. I tried several rolls(from the grilled chicken to the California to a house specialty) and they are all fresh. The rice isn’t hard or mushy and they don’t skimp on ingredients. * I was really impressed with their non-alcoholic drink selection. They serve 7 – 8 fresh, house-made drinks from Cucumber Lemonade to Agave Gingerale. I sampled them all and LOVE the honeydo! * I got the chance to meet two of the three owners, Zach and Steve. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and we are just a normal family, they each individually stopped by our table to check in. We chatted with them for a while and really respect their vision for the restaurant and their passion for providing families with a healthy, fun and sustainable dining experience. Steve talked to me about how they try hard to make work fun and meaningful for their employees. They take them to baseball games and other social events, give employees freedom to bring new ideas and invest in their lives. They seemed like two of the most sincere, hard working people that you just want to WIN. * The atmosphere was great. Other reviewers mentioned that it is set up similarly to Chipotle. For that reason, it’s ideal for a healthy and fast meal while you are shopping. Bottom line: Will I be back? Heck yes.

Fusian is the Chipotle of sushi. You walk in, select your roll(brown or white rice?), select your meats(fried shrimp, steak, crab, salmon, tofu, chicken) and your fillings(carrots, cucumber, jalapeño, asparagus, avocado, cream cheese, green onion). Fusian wraps it up for you, and you can top it off with some sauces and additional yummy goodness(wasabi mayo, ginger, soy, tempura, etc). If all of that sounds too daunting, there are also some set menu choices to choose from: california roll, spicy salmon roll, surf & turf roll(recommend this one!). So all of that sounds like your standard sushi fair but omg the ingredients at this place were so fresh and flavorful. The Chipotle-style assembly line made the line pretty long, so I was prepared to dislike this. But wow! it was just so good. Most rolls are $ 7 – 9, which is a little on the pricey side considering all the half-price sushi deals around town. But 1 roll is 10 pieces and I was comfortably full after just the 1 roll. Once the employees get good at the assembly line setup, this food will sell itself. It’s that good!
