This was a wonderful restaurant, with five stars, but it has now closed. The owners have moved to Florida. My taste buds are so disappointed.

I had the Mykonos Gyro, spiced pork tenderloin with tomato, onion, and tzatziki, and it was outstanding! There is no fat at all on the pork and the flavors are wonderful. I ordered it to go, and it came out very quickly. I will absolutely be back.

I had Despina as a waitress and she was amazing! There was a fantastic belly dancer. She was very entertaining. The moussaka was out of this world amazing! I will go again!

This is the best Greek food I’ve had, bar none. The menu is extensive, including options for the adventurous and non-adventurous alike. The traditional dishes are all super delicious — the saganaki is a giant portion, the hummus is nice and garlicy, the shrimp are cooked and seasoned perfectly, the lamb has a perfect char, but the real star of the evening was the octopus. Oh man, the octopus is the best I’ve ever had. I’m not a fan, but it was not chewy even in the slightest. We went there with a large party and were treated like family. All the makings of a fantastic memory.

We love Mykonos! The food is delicious and you can tell it is from the heart. This family owned restaurant may look unassuming from the exterior, but once inside, it’s a completely engaging atmosphere. Don’t pass on the chocolate raspberry baklava. The only thing I’d recommend is dimming the lights slightly for dinner.

My husband and I have been coming here for close to 10 years. The food is consistent in quality, taste, and portion size. The waitresses knew us and what we ordered. It seems that in the past couple of years, though, service has diminished. There was one occasion my husband and his friend stopped by and were turned away. I wasn’t there so I don’t know how busy they were. On 2 occasions our waitress left when we were waiting on our check. Each time, 30 – 45 minutes went by with no help so one of us went to the counter for our check. I like the restaurant, but really miss the service. We might try again later in the future, but we’ll explore other local options until then.

Compared to the other Mediterranean food options in the area, I find this OK. It seems as if it is family owned. It is in a strip mall that can be hard to locate from Hamilton Road. I do enjoy the Chicken 300 which includes grilled chicken, red and green peppers, bannana peppers, onions on top rice. The chicken is always grilled perfectly without being dry or over cooked. I got a Greek salad on the side for $ 3.95 extra and it was a huge size for a small. I was able to split everything with my husband and still have leftovers. The drawback is how busy it gets on the weekends and lunch. I wouldn’t recommend eating there durning the week if pressed for time. Or, my usual is to get take out. They do package it in styrofoam boxes, not my favorite. We do eat here often to switch up the usual routines and we are never dying to go back.

I stop in here about once a month. Service is always super friendly, sometimes a little slow during non-peak hours. Their portions are very generous, flavorful and delicious! Live music and Belly dancers are always a lot of fun too! My go-to to Greek in Columbus!

If you want a little neighborhood restaurant with authentic Greek food owned and operated by authentic Greek people… this is your place!(But don’t just go because it’s close by… it’s worth traveling to even if you live farther away.) We love this place and are always greeted by the owners as if they are so thrilled we are there. They always remember us, even if it’s been awhile since we were last in there. The food is excellent and the portions generous! Service is spot on. The Greek burger with fries was my latest choice. My son had the Gyro. The bakery good are awesome, too! We will be coming back often!

First time here as we are always saying we want to try it when going to Cap City. We are greeted by the owner who tells us that he had tables opening up and it’ll be only a few minutes. He was right so yay we are starting off right! Our waitress Tina tells us that she’s filling in for someone but she’s very friendly and gave us her recommendations. My husband ordered the moussaka and I ordered the dolmades. My husband also got the lemon chicken soup. We are then informed that the belly dancer will be performing soon. Yep you got that right my husband was instantly interested! My son ordered the bbq lamb sandwich with fries. He loved it! I enjoyed the little bit he gave me too! I thought the lemon sauce on my dolmades was overpowering. But I did like them otherwise. My husband really liked his moussaka especially the bechamel sauce. Wow and the belly dancer liked my son. We had a great time and will be back to try more items on their menu! We are glad there was an hour wait at Cap City!

Needed a healthy option on a business trip with a colleague. Ordered the Horiatiki Village Salado consisting of fresh tomato wedges, cucumbers, onions, kalamata olives, Greek peppers and feta cheese mixed with extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing. This came with lemon chicken soup — both huge portions and absolutely delicious. Friend had the lentil soup instead — really good. Service and ambiance were solid. We will be back.

Go for lunch! The food is really good. The service is friendly and nice. There is live entertainment some nights and you can get takeout pretty quick as well. My only complaint is somehow they’re a bit pricier than some of their counterparts on the other side of town. I spend almost as much on dinner there as I would at Cap City. And I don’t feel like it’s a $ 50+ dinner for four restaurant(no drinks/alcohol). So mostly we go for the lunch specials or with a coupon if possible.

Just grabbed take out lunch with a coworker. Ordered a lamb kabob pita sandwich and and spanakopita. The foil on the sandwich was not tightly wrapped so sauce was everywhere. The lamb meat was on the too chewy side. The spanakopita was in a container with a heavily vinegar dressed salad. So the typical crispy and delicate phyllo was overly oiled crispy top with a soaked vinegar bottom. My stomach felt heavy like I ate greasy fast food not Greek.

I ordered take out for lunch here last week as I continued my exploration of Greek food on the East side. The place sits in a strip mall, but it’s very cozy and nice on the inside, and I could see this being a great place to have a family dinner. I didn’t get to experience any of that, so I’m just judging the place strictly on the food. I wanted something quick, and since it was my first time at the place, I went with a beef and lamb gyro with a side of fries. I had a long drive back to work, so I was afraid everything would be cold, but the pita and fries held up well(at least the fries that made it back). The fries here are awesome. I couldn’t stop eating them the whole way back to work. They were cooked perfectly and had a tasty Cajun style spice on them. The gyro was pretty good as well. I wouldn’t say it was the best gyro I’ve had recently, but it was good enough to have again. I think if I were to return to this place though, I’d go for dinner, and I would probably check out the other items on the menu. The leg of lamb picture on here looks fantastic. My girlfriend said her and her family used to go here for dinner when she was younger and would have a great time, so I’ll shoot out an updated next time I try it.

Fries and gyro are amazing. The seasoning on the fries is to die for. Big chunks of gyro meat… love the house dressing. Calamari was okay, a little on the chewy side but well-seasoned. Tzatziki was also okay, a little chunkier than I’m used to. Belly-dancing and music helps create a fun atmosphere.

This was my 2nd visit to Mykonos Taverna — both on Friday nights. I mention that fact since Mykonos is noted for having live music and belly-dancers on the weekend. If you’re looking for a place to dine with friends — you should avoid the evening when they have music and belly dancers — the noise level is very loud making it very difficult to carry on a conversation. The service during both of my visits was excellent and the food was good but not exceptional. The lettuce in my salad must have still been wet when it was dressed since the dressing appeared to be watery. The pastitsio was good but the bechamel sauce was more bread-like that normal and the pasta noodles where larger than what I would normally expect in pastitsio(NOTE — this is one of my favorite Greek dishes and I’ve had it in a number of Greek restaurants and at the Greek Festival in Columbus(Labor Day weekend). My wife have a gyro and found the meat to bemore heavily peppered than in most Greek restaurants. Overall — excellent service, nice décor, live music and decent(just not exceptional) Greek food. BTW — it can be awkward if the belly dancer comes to your table and singles someone out for special attention. Some guys like this — many don’t.
