I love a place with games while you wait and beers. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is chill. Its family friendly too!

Our group has been there a number of times now, always on karaōke night. The wings are fair, and they carry a pineapple cider that I adore. I have had the fish and chips which is pretty standard fare, and their Shepards Pie is quite good. Noise levels during karaōke can be a bit loud, even in the back room. The performers aren’t horrible, but as the night goes on, they get more inebriated and the quality goes down.

Stopped and a had a couple beers and some food. Not a bad place. Next time I am in town I will stop by again.

Just freakin gross! And horrible service. Do not, I repeat, DONOT get the lobster mac n cheese. It was disgusting. After getting a couple small bits of shell I gave up. The lobster was way over cooked and chewy, the cheese has no real flavor and a disturbing texture. My girlfriend continued to eat the Mac n cheese by dousing it in hot sauce… She’s now sick to her stomach. All in all a crappy evening. This much I will say. Their beer selection is fantastic. Absolutely 1 of the better beer selections I’ve seen in town. The service though matched the food in quality. Our server was a young guy, whom I assume was named Roman from the check. The check and our waters was about the only thing he served us quickly though. We got soft pretzels(which are way better with mustard than their beer cheese) I can’t tell you how long those took and it was another server who brought them. It was another server who got our drinks, and who got our second round. It was another server who brought us another small plate to share the Mac N Cheese after we asked Roman and he disappeared. But I will admit, come time for the check, he was every bit fast and available. I wish we had gone anywhere else and I hope you do too. Now we’re at home for the night and I’m hungry and she’s sick. Worst choice I could have made in a restaurant for tonight.

It was our first time eating here, and we know we’ll be back! I was a little worried that it would be loud since we saw online they feature live music on Saturdays, but the performer was mellow and played easy listening rock songs that weren’t too loud at all. Also, they have a ton of board games to play which really won me over since I have kids and usually crayons don’t cut it. I told our server it was our first time and she recommended a bunch of items, like their award winning chili and the shepherds pie. We started with their Swamphead beer battered onion rings which tasted amazing but they weren’t as crispy as I had hoped. We ordered the Mac and cheese for my little one and it was kraft, which I’m really tired of seeing in restaurants anymore, but he didnt have any complaints. I ordered the Chicken and Gravy for dinner which was really good. No problem with the crispiness of the chicken here, it was perfect. The gravy was thick and creamy but a little bland. I threw a little salt and pepper on it and it was good to go. The mashed potatoes were delicious but they did have chunks of potatoes in them.(I really didnt mind– that’s how mine at home always turn out). My husband ordered the Shepherds Pie and he said it was good, but it didn’t impress him. We will definitely be back though to try the rest of their large menu. Oh, and maybe a few beers! We didn’t have any tonight, but their menu has four pages devoted to beverages.

This place was one of our stops from MIA to TO, and We couldn’t have chosen a better place to do so. Great service, food, nonetheless the big selection of brews; plus it coincidentally was Trivia Night which made this stop quite entertaining.

They have lots of craft beers on tap but the menu lacked a lot of imagination. I would go for the beer but not the food.

Local bar with some food. The food is mediocre and menu unappealing, but then again, it’s a bar that’s trying to be more. Beer selection is pretty decent, but mostly local breweries.

Great beer selection. Food better than your typical«sports bar» fare. Service a little slow but not too bad.

The waitress we had tonight was terrible. I had previously visited this establishment on St Patrick’s Day which didn’t leave a good impression. Realizing it was a crazy day I went back to give it another try. I ordered dinner and after about 30 minutes we finally flagged down our waitress and questioned her about the food. She said she would check. Maybe if she wasn’t so busy talking to her friends, she would have remembered my food. She had issues splitting the check and after it was explained to her, she still managed to screw them

First time to this place. The food menu is pretty big. The beer menu is huge. The best way to try the big selection of taps is to try a «flight». Four beers, about 5 oz each for $ 10. A little pricey but better than buying a pint of nasty beer. Now for the food. We tried apps. First one was the pretzel and beer cheese dip. I was very disappointed with it. The pretzel was a factory made reheated cheap piece of dough. The cheese was almost like soup and had a very strong onion flavor. Nothing like real Wisconsin beer cheese dip or soup. We also tried the fried mac & cheese bites. These were amazing. Great crunch, and the right amount of cheese. Next was the chicken wings. We had the Parmesan garlic, and the buffalo. The wings were cooked perfectly. The sauce was very good. I will be back to try more beer and maybe a burger next time.

Come for a beer, leave because of the food… Ok, it’s hardly that bad. But the dining portion of this not-so-delicately named establishment could stand for considerable improvement. Several visits produced one perfectly reasonable bowl of chili and a few burger/fries combos that can only be described as sub-standard. Greasy, messy, not particularly flavorful. It would certainly do in a pinch, but I generally prefer a better meal in order to become a consistently returning customer. The beer portion of the experience is great. Tons of options on tap, and there are always a few local brews that make this a good«one-stop» kind of place to sample the best of the Gainesville craft beer scene. Service can be uneven, but is generally fine. This location used to house a rotating variety of restaurants. The atmosphere is nothing special, but that is to be expected for the quiet, suburban vibe to this part of town.

One great pub with great food! Bad reviews are like cowards, instead of discussing their concerns to management in an attempt to arrive at a solution. They jump on their sissy cell phones and attack every hard working person at the establishment. Usually these pathetic people also have problems with the electric company, their car repair guy or the grocer. Their life is about pissing and moaning. Nothing will ever please them. This pub has great food, over 60 craft brews on tap, an equal amount in a variety of bottles. Whiskey, scotch, gin and vodka drinks as well as cool stuff mixing the craft beers with certain other liquors. This is an awesome pub. Been here many times and will wish them nothing but longevity and continued success. We needed a place like this in NW Gainesville vs Archer Rd. So to you pathetic losers who come here, pig out on the all you can eat then take a big to go box, while leaving a garbage pile on the floor, go home and think about how pathetic you are before leaving a nasty review because your fries were not crisp enough. To the rest of us locals who wished for a pub like this, enjoy. The Chili is killer!

This was our second visit. Would their food and service be as good as last time? Well, the appetizer of corn nuggets was a good start. The bowl was emptied in two minutes. The 312 Urban wheat ale and Intuition People pale ale were cold and crisp. One sandwich started as a grilled chicken but with the bacon, Provolone cheese and cole slaw, it became nearly perfect in the brioche bun. Another sandwich was the TBC, that is, tomato, bacon and cheddar cheese on a two slices of ciabatta bread. Outstanding. Our server was excellent. When we could not make up our minds on the beer selection she quickly suggested several samples. This was a great way to avoid a too bitter a beer.

More like CRAPPY Bastards Major disappointment. We got a flight and it was all sub-par. We had one question and our server had no knowledge of the menu. Our waters were never filled. The food was just very low quality. Not worth any amount of many. The wings were def just frozen wings that they threw in the fryer. Took 5-ever. The live band was torture. So wretched. Could not escape. I will NEVER return. Such a mediocre establishment.

BOOYAH! They did it! Four stars because there is always room for improvement. However, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. The food items have grown! So much to choose from. The burger is freaking good. Downright so good I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing so I wouldn’t have be rolled home. Now that there are some extra food choices it’s a great way place to go for lunch and dinner. Still clean. Still really cool service. I dig it. I’ll go back. I think I’ll even go back tonight! That hamburger though… with that bacon…

Solid three stars, four and a half on the beer selection and FAIR pricing. They have a military discount on Wednesday. They are doing great to start the food menu is a little short but I expect that is due to the new owner and a conservative start. A real Mom and Pop and the son are making a place that is inviting and pleasing. I bet if I asked they would get any, I mean ANY beer I asked for. As for the name I love it! Give them a try I know I will be here for the Gator games! P. S. I am holding back on the stars because I cannot give 3.5.

stopped in with my brothers and sis-in-law for a mid-afternoon nosh. Selection of about 60 craft beers, several local to Gainesville. Pricing was $ 5-$ 6 per glass, and glass sizes ran from pint to 10oz snifter, depending on the beer. Pub-ish options for food, we had chicken wings and chili, priced a bit on the high end. $ 10 for 10 wings, $ 6 for a bowl of chili, $ 4.50 for a cup. I’ll say this, the chili was tasty and filling. Several TVs, most showing some sporting event or another. Waitstaff friendly, but not completely up to speed on what beers they had, and which styles were what, and how they compared. Tasters were available for the asking. Didn’t ask about flights. This particular location seems to chew through its share of sports-related pubs
