The alterations were fine.
The bustle looked nice to begin with BUT the bustle broke. It had nothing to do with the weight of the train. The fabric was light and the train was very short. I don’t think it’s worth the money for the bustle when you have to start safety pinning the dress up yourself.
I wouldn’t be so upset about the situation if another person at the wedding didn’t mention that her dress did the exact thing from the same woman. Something must be said to warn other brides. If you don’t mind safety pinning the dress later, don’t worry about it. But for the money, you want good quality work.
