I had heard very good things about Dr. Storoe and was referred by my dentist. However, My experience didn’t start out very good because the girl that answers the phone was pretty rude, which ultimately made me a little hesitant to move forward with a procedure I was already horrified about. I don’t know about everyone else, but I’d rather not go somewhere to have my mouth cut open by a doctor that can’t even hire a receptionist that can at least pretend they care about his patients. I mean you would think for $ 2000 a surgery they could afford an all star staff. Just saying. However, in the end all turned well. I agree with the other review, the entire process felt very rushed and although the actual surgery only took about 45 minutes my total time in the office was about 3 hours because of all the waiting around. The Dr seemed very busy and in a hurry, but all in all I think he did a good job. I got it done yesterday and it’s already healing, and although I’m hopped up on quite a few pain meds(thank you dr), it doesn’t hurt much at all. The dr is great, the only reason they lost two starts was because of the extremely long wait and rude receptionist.

Dr. Storoe removed my wisdom teeth two weeks ago and so far, so good. He did a great job with the surgery, but more on that later. First, Dr. Storoe was the ONLY oral surgeon out of 4 or 5 that I e-mailed who even bothered to respond to my online contact form. He communicated with me and answered several questions before I even came to see him in his office. When I finally visited his office for my consultation, I was greeted by a friendly, smiling and welcoming staff. Dr. Storoe answered every single question I had and spent a good 30 – 45 minutes with me during my consultation. You can tell he’s been doing this a long time, and he has all the credentials and certifications to prove it. He was very thorough and made me feel confident in choosing him as my surgeon. The day of the surgery, they were slammed at the office and I had to wait an hour and a half past my appointment time, which is why they lose a star. Now I normally wouldn’t even mind waiting, but I have anxiety and have never gone under anesthesia, so I was nervous and freaking out more and more with every minute. Once I got in the chair, I almost had a panic attack, but they started the IV drip and I woke up 30 minutes later with 4 teeth missing. They sent me home with a lot of information on how to take care of my wounds, and answered any questions I called in with. Dr. Storoe also scheduled me in the day before a holiday to make sure everything was healing well and to drain the liquid from the holes. My post-op also went well, I haven’t had any complications, and I’m healing nicely. Dr. Storoe is a great oral surgeon. My qualms with this office are that they overbook their appointments and make you feel rushed if they’re busy. However, they did a great job with my teeth and performed an excellent surgery, and at the end of the day that’s all that matters. I HIGHLY recommend this friendly, professional and well-qualified oral surgeon.
