Kauffman Tire

Excellent customer service! Was adequately quoted on a new set of tires. Not only did the gentleman at the front desk explain everything throughly (warranty, longevity, etc.), but he seemed genuinely interested in helping me out. And they’re honest — rare find! Asked them to check my oil since I wasn’t sure the last place I went to used synthetic and instead of taking advantage of the situation, they were honest enough to tell me that my oil looked really good and didn’t need to be changed. Definitely coming back! :)

I was quite happy when i found out Kauffman Tire moved to Gainesville, because I was quite happy with the 4 tires i bought from them for my other car, in the town i moved from. But my recent experience goes waaay beyond anything i expected.
Besides the super clean waiting room, stocked with complimentary coffee, sodas, bottled water etc. the whole place was immaculate including the mechanics’ areas.
I got an incredible deal on 4 tires, about ½ the price of anywhere else in town with the rebate! I only wish they did more work, I’d bring my car to them for nearly everything.
I had them check several other things ‘wrong’ with my car, and they gave me honest checkups, like…‘no need to do now’, ‘everything ok’.
The customer service was as good as it gets. Eric is truly sincerely honestly a great guy completely in the customers corner. I received nothing but great service from everyone there.
Above all, good mechanics and knowledegable in Tire sales.

I was given referrals on Facebook for two tires places that could plug my tire for free, one of them being Kauffman Tire. I couldn’t find the other business, so I went to Kauffman.
Eric was the person I spoke with about my tire, which had a large screw (?) in it. I had already put my spare tire on, and the tire with the screw wasn’t technically a flat tire, but I didn’t want to risk it becoming one.
Kauffman was really busy that day, and Eric asked if I could wait around for about an hour. I couldn’t, so Eric asked to see the tire. He checked it in the shop and told me that moving the screw just a bit caused the tire to leak air. He said that if I could leave the tire until later in the day, he could have it plugged, but he wasn’t sure if they would have time to put it on my car for me. I would have been fine with that except that AAA had changed my tire and had used an air wrench, and I wasn’t sure if I could break the lug nuts loose. Eric said not to worry, they would work something out.
I came back around the time suggested and Eric said it would be about a 40 minute wait. I was fine with that. I settled into a chair in the waiting room, made a fresh cup of coffee in their K-​cup machine, and began reading a magazine. Less than 10 minutes later, and to my surprise, Eric came out and said my tire was done. He said he took care of it himself.
I will also add that I had asked about having my valve stem replaced because I’ve had a slow leak for some time. He took care of that as well.
I am beyond impressed. If the customer service from that day is any indication (and I believe it is), then this is the place to go!!!

I just can’t imagine a better tire buying experience anywhere! From the time I walked through the door until I was handed my keys, I felt like a valued customer. There’s a clean, comfortable (large) waiting area, fresh brewed coffee, and professional (knowledgeable) staff who appeared to be genuinely happy to be there. Prices are better than I’ve found anywhere else in Gainesville, and I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t need. What more could you ask for? Two thumbs up. WAY up!
P. S. I also asked to have the oil changed, and wiper blades and air filter replaced on my Infiniti, as well as mounting the new tires they had ordered for me. The car was STILL finished in under the time they had quoted me (hour & a half) … And all this on a Saturday morning! I’ll definitely be returning to Kauffman Tires!

Amazing customer service. Honest work. Great waiting room (free wi-​fi, spotless restrooms, free beverages). The Manager, Dwight, is friendly and so helpful; he runs a fantastic shop! You will NOT be disappointed.

Traveling home to MD with car that goes behind motorhome. Had problem with a tire. After a few phone calls to tire shops in the Gainsville, area, found kauffman was able to work with a tight schedule. Kauffman had me back on the road with the car in less than 90 minutes. Decided also to put a new set of tires on car. Service desk was helpful in selecting tires and arranging quick replacement on a mid Saturday afternoon. Final price was more than fair.

Excellent experience here getting my oil changed and tires rotated. Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating waiting area (TV, Keurig coffee, water, soda, snacks). Staff was very friendly and professional, and my oil change was done in under an hour. I had made an appointment, and they took care of me right away; I didn’t have to wait to get acknowledged. (They also take walk-​ins though.) They did a full inspection of my vehicle as well and found nothing wrong. They didn’t try to sell me anything else either, which I appreciated. Overall a great experience, and I will be back for more service in the future.
