John Russell u did a terrible hair cut. Worst I have had in the last many years.

Did you ever watch Cheers on Tv and secretly wish there was a place you too could go where everybody knew your name? Well that’s what you get here at JohnRussell Salon, minus the beer, random drunks and a last call, but you get the idea. These guys are the real deal. I know they say that hairdressers aren’t magicians but anytime I have gotten a hair cut or color through the years, John and Donny have ended up making me feel like a sex kitten… purrr. From advising me on hair length to color with some good old fashioned TLC in addition to excellent training on the latest trends alongside fabulous prices, what more needs to be said? Even Norm didn’t have it so good!

John Russell Garten has been styling my hair for two years and I have never looked better! I always get compliments on my hair, and that’s especially satisfying because I have a health condition that thins my hair (not as much hair as in the younger years, and quite fine). But you’d never know it because my cut is so good! John knows just how to layer it so it’s flattering and looks thick. He has given me all sorts of tips on how to style it and make it easy to maintain. If I come in with an idea for a change, he takes time to discuss it. He really listens. He is also honest, if he has concerns that my hair isn’t the right type for a picture I found in a magazine or online. I always leave feeling my best and it’s a great partnership, which is what most style-​conscious people want with their stylist.
John and Donny are a delight to be around! They create a great atmosphere in their very cute salon. It’s always a light and fun experience and they take great care of you. Excellent skill, excellent service — and great music and laughs!
I have recommended them to friends and they are all happy clients as well. PLUS the guys don’t push products unless you ask about what’s available. I can’t say enough great things about the confidence I have from always having a top quality cut that suits me and is easy to maintain.

Just got a full head of highlights by John and a cut/​style. Loved the results! The salon is also very nice inside and comfortable. The whole session took less than 2 hours!

Staff was stuck up and rude. They were not in the least bit helpful and made me feel like a jerk for even entering their «salon.» No doubt a place like this will be out of business soon with service like that.
