We have used this florist on several occasions, two being the deaths of my Mother-in-law and my Father-in-law. They have always been kind, courteous, and have given us good value for our money. The flowers we have ordered for for funerals have always been huge for the money. I will continue to use these good people. I just placed an order for a rubber tree plant today and can’t wait to see it.

Yikes. The pictures are worth a thousand words in this case. For my mother’s fall birthday, I wanted to send her an arrangement that reflected the colors of the season, so I chose an FTD«Golden Autumn™ Bouquet.» The FTD website describes this arrangement as: «exud(ing) the warmth and comfort of the harvest season with each colorful bloom. Peach spray roses, burgundy miniature carnations and butterscotch daisy pompons are a spirited and sweet bouquet arranged in a clear glass vase accented with a colorful designer ribbon.» I uploaded a picture from their website of what this arrangement is supposed to look like, at the«better» level, which is the mid-priced version of the bouquet I paid for. Unfortunately, I also uploaded a picture of what my mother received from Joyce Merck Florist, which is the local florist that completed my FTD order. The arrangement she received was a scanty assortment of shocking orange and hot pink flowers of erratic lengths tied with a fuchsia ribbon. This arrangement speaks of Easter on speed, not«Golden Autumn.» Now, I understand all flowers might not be available at all times, so I checked out FTD’s substitution policy, which states that«in arrangements of assorted flowers, the colors shown online will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value.» This was certainly not the case. I’ll be filing a complaint with FTD and taking my business elsewhere in the future.

If you are looking for a florist that will provide ONLY the standard arrangements like you see online. and someone with no creativity to design«outside of the box». You’ve come to the right place. I recently came to this shop with my mother and daughter to have a floral arrangement designed for my father’s funeral. When my mom wanted to see about having an arrangement designed, I’m assuming the owner maybe the store manager? Was quick to provide a book with what my mom assumed were just examples. When my mom asked for some adjustments to be made seeking a bit of creativity, the person we dealt with told my grieving mother this was it. The prices noted for all arrangements were ridiculously high, with a lot of «filler» flowers being used(carnations, and other inexpensive flowers). When my mother tried to describe something she would be interested in(thinking the owner may have an idea) the owner in a very rude tone told my mom«all I have is what is in the book». We ended up at this florist as it was one that The Newcomers Club had used for arrangements. With my mother being a member of the club, she wanted to support the business… However I was over the rudeness and insisted we head to the florist I found called Occasions to give them a try. I am so glad we left, as was my mother. Please bypass this business, unless of course you want to spend too much on an arrangement where I’m sure you’ll be dished up a side of rudeness for free.
