Midnight Cookies

Yum. What’s better than a fresh baked cookie and chocolate milk? Quick service and creative tasty bites. Rather sparse interior but understand this is more about «midnight snacks» for the college set.

Some of the greatest cookies I’ve ever tasted. All of the cookies are very large for a very good price, I would suggest getting at least a cookies for their price. My personal favorite cookies are birthday cake and Smore’s, they also have various holiday cookies which are really good. Anytime in the area, I always have to make a pitstop at midnight cookies!

Midnight Cookies is great. They always have the most creative recipes and their menu is always changing. I love their s’mores and birthday cake cookies the most!

Always delicious. Every cookie on their menu is delicious. My favorite is the Apple Pie cookie when they have it on the menu.
My only issue is that within the past year they have started consistently giving you smaller cookies for the same price that the cookies were before when they were larger.

I love making random late night pit stops to Midnight cookies. The cookies are baked to order so when you get them they are super fresh and hot. I just wished the atmosphere inside was a little more fun. They could do so much with that place; interior, wise if they let their creative juice flow.

Great concept that to me I personally think would only really work in a «college» town. Cookies were absolutely Grand! Made fresh to order, and the staff was very helpful with suggestions. They are open late hence the name, And also deliver. I think the aromatics of the place is worth driving there alone. The cookies are still hot when handed over to you and packaged well in small pizza-​box like to-​go boxes for convenience. I don’t think there is any cookies there people won’t like, however they do have some that will make your heart melt. Definitely recommend Midnight cookies for you Unilocalers out there! Enjoy!

Savor every bite! These cookies are so amazing. My friend and I are here visiting over the weekend and were having a late night sweet tooth. Our friends suggested we ordered a few for delivery. Although we waited 50 minutes, it was well worth the wait. I enjoyed a s’mores with additional m&m’s and a midnight cookie with chocolate almond milk to go with it. While my friends ordered snickerdoodle, peanut butter with Reese’s and cookies and cream. I personally did not try them but we equally agreed that every cookie was out of this world. So delicious! Wish I had a midnight cookie where I lived.

Wasn’t sure at first about going to a place that just had cookies but wow was I surprised when I walked in and smelled the cookies I was stunned. I recommended the cookies and cream cookies, ordered one and then I came back and ordered 4 more. I tried a speciality cookie of bacon and pecans and loved it. Smores cookie was the only thing I felt was lacking in flavor.

Officially a fan! This is going to be a step review, starting with «the call.» Prior to calling, I checked this place out online after a friend recommended them. Very easy website and menu to read.

Clerk: «Lol, yes sir. We make cookies…» He continues to go on explaining all the cookies they make, they are made to order and freshly baked. He also added, «These cookies will change your life!» He was very enthusiastic and easy to speak to.

Small cozy sitting area. If you want to hang with maybe one friend or two to eat a cookie it isn’t a bad spot to chill, but this place is always busy it seems (I’ve seen it packed while driving by several time) so I wouldn’t recommend sitting in. It seems it is more designed for people to come in and wait instead of hang out and eat their cookies. That’s not an issue to me though.

I ordered 6 cookies for a little over $ 7. They were done in 15mins! I will rate each cookie we ordered. Overall, they were all cooked to perfection and tasted great!
1) Chocolate chip: 4 out of 5. You can’t go wrong with a classic cookie to test a cookie place out. I wasn’t necessarily blown away, but it was a darn good cookie. My wife has been making homemade chocolate chips cookies for awhile and she has a good old fashioned recipe she uses that I really love and crave. If I’m wanting this specific cookie, I’ll stick with the wife’s.
2) Snickerdoodle: 4 out of 5. Another classic cookie. Again, I wasn’t blown away by this cookie, but it was a darn good cookie. Nice semi-​crispy rim and warm soft center. It was darn good, but I probably won’t order it again because my wife can make these too.
3) Birthday Cake Cookie: 5 out of 5. This is a specialty cookie. This cookie blew me away. For something that sounds so simple, they hit the nail on the head. I would rather have this on my birthday than an actual cake! It was amazing. It was filled with the perfect amount of ingredients and wasn’t too overpowering. Very subtle but fantastic taste and texture. I will for sure be ordering this cookie again.
4) Red Velvet Cookie (limited time): 5 out of 5. This is also a specialty cookie. This cookie also blew me away. Again, they hit the nail on the head. It was so flavorful without being overpowering. It was the perfect balance of ingredients and tasted so darn good. It will satisfy your red velvet craving. Hurry though, this is only available for a limited time at random times throughout the year! I will be ordering this cookie again!
5) Dirt Cookie: 5 out of 5. This is also a specialty cookie. This is a madness mix of chocolate, but perfect taste! It was also topped with a warm dollop of chocolate pudding which complimented the cookie very well. Another reorder for the future!
6) Coconut Key Lime: OFF THE CHARTS! This specialty cookie is AMAZING! It literally taste like key lime pie, but dare I say, BETTER. It was just, absolutely amazing. My wife was so floored by the taste, she said she would kill for the recipe! This cookie made the whole experience worth while. It is evident they put a lot of effort into the recipe and it surely shows in this perfectly made cookie. If you go, you have to try this cookie!
We definitely recommend this place for your cookie cravings, but if you go, stick with their specialty cookies! We will be a repeat customer for years!

I admit that I do have a soft spot for niche eateries, especially those that specialize in desserts. I came here last night (around midnight, of course) with a friend to see how well the cookies measured up.
The cashier was very friendly and eagerly gave me a run-​down of the menu when I told him that it was my first time here. I am forever a fan of chocolate, so it’s no surprise that I chose the Dirt Cookie: chocolate cookie with chocolate chunks and dollop of warm chocolate pudding in the center. Just writing this review is making me crave another!
The store is relatively small and has space to seat 10 – 15 people max. I’ve started to notice the quality of the restrooms of the places I’ve reviewed and Midnight Cookies keeps things quite clean.
It took about 10 minutes for our cookies to arrive and less than 3 minutes to devour these large sweets. But the state of bliss that these cookies leave you could well last a lifetime.

The cookies are pretty good here and they make it freshly baked for you! The place is simple but very chill. My personal favorites are the Midnight Cookie and their chocolate chip cookie. I’m a chocolate fanatic and midnight cookie helps with that! And you can’t beat the classic chocolate chip cookie.
Overall, the place is really good, but the prices are pretty expensive for a cookie. They have deal if you buy a lot so order with friends and just split the cost!

Personally I didn’t like midnight cookies. I found it overrated. They have different flavored cookies which is cool but I think I can bake better cookies.

Neat idea! We waited 8 – 10 mins and our cookies (birthday cake cookie and orange cookie) were ready. Definitely a must-​do while in Gainesville.

Delicious but extremely rich, a tad oily, and guaranteed to make you feel super guilty after consuming ;). Cookies are made fresh so you can expect to wait for 15 min if you order in store. The major downfall is this place is the price. But if your craving something sweet, this place is sure to hit the spot.

I’ve been ordering these cookies since my freshmen year at UF. By far my number one place to go to. They serve original flavors varying from cookies n crème to Pb banana and banana fosters. Every week they come out with new flavors for that week. These favors go anywhere from chocolate coconut and cinnamon roll to the Elvis (cookie mixed w banana PB and bacon toped w fresh bananas and bacon). It takes about ten to fifteen mins to bake if you’re picking up and about thirty mins to get them delivered. I get excited each week to see what flavors they will have. Just like everyone else in Gainesville Iove me so freshly baked cookies at 1am specially while studying for an exam. If you love your kid buy them some midnight cookies.

This is my second time getting these cookies delivered to my friends dorm in UF. I love these cookies! The banana foster is to die for ! Also the birthday cookie, s’more, and so much more. I love how there are vegan options and a variety of different milks to chose from. The delivery wait isn’t that bad at all and everyone is so nice. The cookies are delivered WARM and gooey. It’s perfect!!! Every time I visit, I will order! Make sure you tip the driver ! Great idea for a business.

BEST CONCEPT EVER! Made to order cookies and opened till 3am on Friday & Saturday. Can’t go wrong with the original chocolate chip but all flavors are worth a try. 8 cookies for $ 8.99

My son learned about this place while doing his preview at UF. He’s a huge cookie freak and so he raved about it so much that I ordered 20 cookies for him for his birthday. Little did I know that the cookies are NOT Chips Ahoy size, needless to say he was very happy but had plenty to share!
We ordered cookies last night while I visited and OMG! I loved them! My fave by far: BANANA FOSTER! Wow!
We are actually ordering another batch tonight and switching it up!

Midnight Cookies thrives mostly because it fills a need: college kids want warm cookies late at night, without the hassle of baking them.
And it works.
While the menu offers several exotic flavors (like s’mores), the cookies in themselves are not inhumanly good. They’re fresh and warm, as if your grandma made them. And that’s exactly what the demand is for.
I especially appreciate the ability to mix and match flavors! You must order a minimum of 8 cookies for delivery, but no limit at take out. And their hours allow you to satisfy your 2am sweet tooth.
Are they gourmet? Not quite. Will I say no to one? Not a chance.
