I’ve gotten good haircuts here. I’m pretty picky and I’ve never been disappointed at Randy’s. Price is good also.

Randy is the best. Consistent, reasonably priced, and pleasant. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Gainesville… I’ve tried them all.

I’ve gone to the strip mall chains for years, and every time I come home, I notice areas that are uneven. My wife usually has to get out the scissors for touchups. That wasn’t the case following my first cut at Randy’s. The haircut was perfect. The service was fast and friendly (without being too chatty — which is my personal preference).

Been here twice with two different barbers. Felt really uncomfortable both times. The last time, two of them were arguing and yelling at each other while I was in the chair. Not amazing work but maybe that’s why it’s so cheap? Not planning to return.

Very disappointed in my cut. It was rushed and of terrible quality. Will not be going back.

Go in and see Cody! Old school barber shop and a pretty neat man-​cave. Been going there for a while and have received great service every time.

I heard a lot of good stuff about this place, but after going there the respect and treatment I received was not up to expectations. The barber Cody seemed like he was in a rush the whole time, hardly spoke if I asked him anything, generally seemed rude and uninterested. He also tried to cut my hair so quickly that he kept slamming the machine against my head, not at all gentle. And in the end, the haircut was not even worth the $ 10 I paid. I really couldn’t believe that that’s the treatment I got. I will not be going back for sure.

Have been in Gainesville for 8 years and feel stupid for not going to this place sooner. I’ve paid over $ 30 at some of the salons for a mens haircut and have never really been that satisfied. Randy gets it done in half the time at half the price and I’ve always been satisfied. The facility is always clean and I enjoy talking to Randy and other guys in there.

Nice haircut ! Wish I could’ve gotten a shave, but they said the barber chairs are at their other location. I can’t complain, they took me 15 minutes before closing ! Definitely will go back ! Can’t remember the barbers name, but he’s got plenty of ink ! Nice guy

I really tried to work with a specific barber at this shop, but after the 3^rd messed up hair line, I was done. The frist time I went there the hair line was not good, but I gave him a pass, and $ 20 for the cut (my mother owns a womens hair salon in NYC, so I know its hard work; I always tip well.) The second time, he seemed frustrated that I was his last hair cut, and was delaying his drive back home. He rushed the cut, and really messed up my hairline again. I still gave him a 5 tip.
In addition, he tried to use a razor blade twice on me that had not been changed, or disinfected; Hepatitis B is real! Either way, after 3 full attempts (the last he tried to just tell me it was my hairline and not him rushing it, or again working through lunch time), I’ve just decided to move on.
Must say, Randy does seem like a nice guy (was always busy so I never got a hair cut with him.), and the place was kept very clean all the time.

I went there to have my son’s haircut. I had just a few minute wait while the hairdresser finished up on the little boy already there. When finished, the floor was not swept before asking us to sit, leaving me to climb over hair that was all over the floor and chair. My son had to use an adult cape and no towel was placed around his or my neck. I was not sure if any of the clippers or combs were clean or if the towel used to wipe his face after was clean or if it was the same towel used on the other kid. The cut was decent but the person only seemed semi friendly and was certainly not making any extra effort to make it a good experience.

Looked good inside, but the hairstylist didn’t seem to happy. Haircut was ok.

Great staff, very skilled and very affordable. Love going there to get a shave and a haircut every month. A++

Only room for improvement would be for some of the staff to not let personal conversations overtake the work environment. Small point though. I’d recommend a visit to Randy’s if you’re in need of a quality hair cut fast.

Randy has been cutting my hair for the past year and a half. I used to have an unfair biased of what $ 12 hair cuts got you, being that the only haircuts i got growing up for $ 12 was the standard bowl cut from the great cuts in wal mart (I know, wasn’t my choice). Needless to say I was very aprehensive. I can tell you without a doubt, Randy and the other barbers KNOW how to cut men’s hair. They actually listen to what your specific needs are and they do not just give you a cookie cutter cut. I recomend anyone who wants a great cut at a great price to call Randy’s. They have become very busy within the past year as word of mouth is spreading across Gainesville about this awesome place. Make an appointment, you will not be dissatisfied.

This is a great place to get a hair cut. I’ve been going to Randy’s for a couple of months and really like all three of the barbers. It’s starting to get busier so a lot of times you need an appointment to avoid a wait but that’s not really my style.
It feels upscale but is on $ 12 for a haircut so it’s a nice change of pace from the dirty places I’ve been going to. They run a lot of coupons for new customers so keep an eye out for that. This is the best place to get a male haircut in Gainesville.

First time in today. Lisa cut my hair. I got a great haircut for $ 12, no waiting and I was in and out in no time. I’ll be back!

Randy has been cutting my hair since 2004, when he was at Campus Cuts, and more recently at Kutters before he opened up his own place. I’ve stuck with him because he cuts hair exactly how you want it, does his best to schedule you at a time that is most convenient for you, and he takes care of his loyal customers. Few businesses or people do all of that. When he called me and told me he had opened up his own place, I couldn’t be happier for him. His «barber shop» is very clean, nicely styled, comfortable, spacious, and reasonable on the wallet for haircuts.

Randys Hair Cuts for Men, was a very professional and clean shop! Best hair cut in town. Randy was a complete professional and his rates are right on. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair cut for only $ 12.00 dollars. The atmosphere was awesome, I didn’t mind waiting on «The Big Comfy Couch» either. Very clean inside and I was treated like a «Rock-​Star» !!!
