Ridgemar Commons Apartments

My brother in law is deploying to fight for our country on July 31^st. This apartment complex is so disgusting that they are trying to make them pay all of August rent. They are moving out since he will be gone and so that my sister and niece can be closer to family during this tough time. They have done everything asked of them by the apartment complex in order to get out of the lease. They asked for official orders and received them. They asked for documents on an official letterhead and received it. My brother in law is deploying for a year overseas to fight for our freedom and thus apartment complex is doing everything they can to prove that they do not support our military. As a veteran I find this absolutely disgusting. Do not rent from these unpatriotic company.

I moved to Gainesville from Michigan and it’s safe to say I was worried about finding an affordable yet, safe place to live. I pretty much called every apartment complex in Gainesville in hopes to find somewhere that would accommodate my needs. I spent many hours searching and when I flew to Florida to get my housing set up before I moved there in three months. I was in a time crunch to visit all of my apartment options… I had roughly 10 – 15 places to check out in a day and a half. Luckily, I visited Ridgemar Commons first and after an hour I had signed my lease and was able to enjoy my short vacation stress free.
I have been living at Ridgemar Commons for over two months now and I have to say I’m impressed. I’ve lived in apartments before and this place has more to offer than the others I have lived in before such as a clean pool, a nice exercise area and a computer room with a printer! Best of all they offer a washer and dryer rental for a small fee each month! Furthermore, the staff has been great. They are quick to respond to any issues I have had. I would suggest living here to anyone!!!

Staff is always accommodating and friendly! Great amenities including workout room, business center and pool. Convent location to many different restaurants and area hospitals. Highly highly recommend Ridgmar Commons!

Stay Away. The management takes advantage of college students. They asked us to pay no deposit, and while leaving, they asked to leave the keys and said everything will be taken care of. One year later, they have sued us for damages worth 1500 plus the court and lawyer fees, claiming that they had tried to contact us through mail, even though the 4 of us didn’t get any mail from them or their lawyer. They know that we cannot afford lawyers, and we had to pay up at the end.
