I have lived in Lexington for 2 years now. When it comes to affordability this is one of the greatest places to live. If you plan on living anywhere passed Archer I would suggest Lexington, because the buses come regularly and right outside the complex! I live in an upgraded apartment with laminate flooring, upgraded bathrooms, and upgraded kitchen so my apartment is relatively nice for the price I pay. Maintenance is also really reliable! I’ve called at 12 midnight and they have come and fixed any issues I’ve had. If you want to be walking distance to school or any attractions this isn’t the place for you. However, I have a car so I think it’s a great location and affordable price.

Moving in to my apartment was a nightmare. I was placed in a 4⁄4 with random roommates. When I arrived, the room I was assigned was a disgusting mess. The bathrooms had not been thoroughly cleaned. The bathtub was dirty. There were paint splatters all over the cabinets(which were also dirty and peeling) and doors. The previous renter had left piles of clothes and other belongings throughout the apartment. The blinds in the living room were installed backwards. Kitchen cabinets were also peeling and had food stains everywhere. It was shocking and very unprofessional. I was also promised that each room would have new furniture, which was apparently a lie. Look somewhere else for an apartment in Gainesville!
