Hookah is not good. You pay a lot for a small subpar hookah. Loud environment which is neither a pro or a con. I asked the owner for a receipt just so I can see how much I spent and he got angry claiming«I do not trust him» and threw the receipt at me. I would recommend Mystic Hookah on university.

My friends and I frequent Sheesha on Friday nights, usually to wind down after a night out. After our experience last night, I felt compelled to write this review. When I first came in, I was greeted by the owner who remembered me and my order from last time, about two weeks before. My group ordered two hookahs, and both had a few issues from the start. One was very difficult to draw from, and then both were not giving very thick smoke, which is how we prefer it. We voiced our concerns to the man who put the hookahs together. One was taken care of quickly, the other proved to be a bit more challenging to give an easier draw and thicker smoke. After a while, a manager, Anthony if I remember correctly, and the owner both were working to make sure it was resolved. After about 15 minutes it was finally fixed, and started giving us the experience we wanted. It was a great experience with them giving us the attention they did. They genuinely care about their customers, and want them to have a good experience. I have been to every hookah bar/lounge I know of in Gainesville, and this is far and away the best one without a doubt.

Good hookah flavors and reasonable prices. Still, I had one problem with my visit: Despite that there was a good amount of people there, there was absolutely no music and the room was so quiet! It could be because we went on a Sunday, but the silence made my group and I feel pretty awkward. Pretty cool environment overall.

Great chill atmosphere– dark, smoky, comfortable lounging. Apple hookah was delicious. Good crowd of people, not too packed but not too empty either. Really friendly staff. Has had rap music playing and NBA games playing during the times I’ve been there. Looking forward to coming back again and again!

As stated by the previous review, the management here has changed. If you want to smoke some hookah but not in a loud club like Kava, this is a great place to go. Went on a Thursday night, everyone was pretty chilled and the DJ was playing some good song. The hookah prices are pretty descent, $ 13.99 for regular flavor hookah and $ 15.99 for specialty hookah such as blue mist, sex on the beach… etc. Service here is excellent! Overall, I would definately recommend my friends to come here for a chill night out.

First, you have to know that the management has changed. The guy in the front is awesome. He greets you, changes your coals and is just an all around great guy. But most importantly he packs a great bowl. not so in many other hookah places in town. Before the management changed, whoever packed the bowls were pretty hit or miss. This place always has people smoking here. I was here for like 2 hours and I saw all types of crowds– couples, big crowds, girls hanging out. I liked the music here and I was surprised there was an actual DJ. Prices aren’t bad though they could be a little cheaper. There’s a tv here. And if you’re like me, you like to keep an eye on the game and check the score. The booths are comfortable, the ambiance is quite nice. And that’s what you’re really there for, right? To smoke a nicely packed bowl with a great guy taking care of you, some nice music, free wifi, maybe a few beers. I don’t know why the other reviewer says«three people had to share a personal sized hookah». There’s no charge if you don’t smoke. which is not true of places like Hookah Nite Café. who will charge you just to sit with your smoker friends. unless you buy something. No one is forcing three people share a hookah. Personal sized hookah? Clearly not a hookah smoker. Take it from me, who owns her own hookah and smokes frequently. The bowls here are HUGE. The shorter fatter hookah makes it easier to draw the smoke. If you want a flashy place so you can spend $ 50 to smoke and feel popular despite your lack of knowledge about hookah, this isn’t it. This is a laid back hangout with good smokes and good people. Right now, I’d say this is the best laid back hookah place in gainesville.(hint: sharab and infusion are not laid back, hookah nite café has been on the decline, and farahs sucks)

Ummm I gotta say, maybe it was the day /time WHATEVER, but I HAVEGOTTO say that this place was not what I wanted or thought it would be. Firstly it was empty. B… three people had to share a personal sized hookah. And the rest: guy was watching tv, then he was on his cpu, then he had food delivered, NOMUSIC, probably cause he was watching tv… Ultimately it didn’t rack up to ANY hookah place I’ve been to and we(my friend) ended up paying way more for a personal size hookah than I’ve paid for larger ones! Definitely won’t be going back there. Ever.
