Walgreens

This walgreens is alright enough and had what we need when me and my friend visit to fill her prescription. The store inside has poor cell signal connect so be aware price checkers. Other than that nothing out of the ordinary.

This Walgreens pharmacy has terrible service. The staff is rude and sarcastic, they had me wait 2 hours for a prescription which took target 5 seconds to fill. Go to the CVS across the street. This Walgreens is not worth your business. It has a creepy vibe and is unpleasant in every aspect.

Third time misses the charm once again. I gave them different opportunities and each time was a bigger failure.
First one was an expensive overcharge on prescriptions with my insurance. Medication normally runs for $ 9.00 only to be fully charged for $ 87.00 and no reason why by the pharmacist other than «can’t do anything about it». Only to find out later that the pharmacist forgot to put in my insurance information, and therefore insurance prices weren’t being used.
Second was when the pharmacist kept and then lost my prescription. Though I thought it would be no big deal, due to no documentation in my file by pharmacist. I had to bug my doctor to rewrite a new one as well as deal with the frustrations of poor service.
Last was a complete disregard of my family’s time after 6pm. After having a conversation about past experiences with the Pharmacist, based on his wait time of15−30 minutes, I elected to wait. After a 40 minute wait of shopping and hanging out patiently I sat in the waiting area for another 10 minutes waiting to hear any news. A new pharmacist came out and said «What’s you name?» After having to go through verification once again the new pharmacist says «oh, we wanted to call for you earlier but our intercom is not working (my file has all my contact information including phone and email), but your insurance is not authorizing the coverage». I was irrate by this moment, but kept it together and asked that my prescription be returned back and that I needed to get home. He did not offer to check me out, as common courtesy for wasting away my time. (After a 9hr stressful work shift, that I already had)
What bothers me is not that my prescriptions were messed up each time as I understand things happen. What I can’t accept is the indifference of the situation.
Walgreens is correct, this is the Past…

Walgreens Drug Stores are great. They have a wonderful selection of dvds and late night ice cream. The pharmacy is ²⁴⁄₇ and the staff is very helpful and speedy. The make-​up selection is great and they have a huge clearance section located in the very back of the store. It is also a bonus that they have 2 Redbox Machines right outside of the entrance.
