Went here after trying another nail salon around the corner that couldn’t fit me and my friend in for pedicures. I am so happy we found this place. It was super well decorated and clean! No nasty acetone smell either. The pedicure chairs were top notch and gave fantastic massages. I loved my pedicure and we were super happy with the results. Will definitely come back. :)

Spend the extra money on getting eyelash extensions somewhere else ! They are cheap for a reason. Getting them put on took around 45 minutes and was mildly painful, came back the very next day to have them removed because I woke up with so much glue in my eyes. Felt and looked like I was wearing a cheap line of Walgreens self adhesive eyelashes. Painful as all out, couldn’t close my eyes without them pricking me. To remove them took an hour, seriously painful this time. And my eyes were swollen until 2 days later(today). Take my word for it & just don’t do it ! Looks tacky and feels(probably is) unsanitary. Friendly staff, but wouldn’t go back :(

So I literally just finished my pedicure and I feel the need to write a review. This place is awesome! It was literally one of the best pedicures of my life! I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their nails done in Gainesville. Service was nice but not over bearing. Finished product? I couldn’t be happy with how my feet loot and feel. Definitely go for the deluxe pedicure if you are gonna try this place out. Well worth the ten extra bucks

Got my first gel manicure done here, I’ll be finding somewhere else for manicures in the future. The service was not only fast, but so rushed that one of my round nails was filed into a sharp, odd angle. As the base coats were being applied quickly, I could see bubbles forming in the polish. The side edges of my nails were left unpainted, even after I said something. A comment was made when I pointed this out that my nails were ‘hard to paint’. No one else was in the salon while I was there, but still I got rushed through. The day after, large bubbles formed under the color coats and continued to get bigger, and now the bubbled places have peeled off. Now I’ll be finding a different salon to fix this mess. Terribly disappointed.

First, the pros: Beautiful set up, elegant and not cheesy, plenty of parking, plenty of pedicure seats, easy to find, incredibly friendly staff Cons: I was the only customer in there and felt very rushed. They did my gel manicure at the same time as the pedicure, which would normally be fine, but the chairs are so deep that I had to contort my body to give her my right hand. It actually hurt my back quite a bit. The lines on both my hands and toes are not very clean and there feels like a lot of clear polish under my nails(don’t you hate that feeling?!) Also, she didn’t do very many coats of the gel and did it SO thin that I can see my nail underneath in some spots. I have a feeling this won’t last the two weeks gel is known for. I wanted to love them because they were so friendly.

Finally found this place! The address on Unilocal is wrong. It’s actually on NW16th Ave around the corner from the Starbucks on NW13th St.(See pic of their sign). Linh and Tommy are the husband and wife owners. They both took care of me as Linh had an appointment and I was a walk-in. She did my brows and toes and started my mani but Tommy finished it. See pics for their work. All 3 services were only $ 46 and I had a nice cold bottle of water to drink while relaxing in the massage chair! Service was excellent and I thought Linh did a great job on my brows, waxing, trimming, and plucking them into shape. I will definitely return.

This is a cute little shop and everyone is so nice — they had customers who had moved with them from Paris nail salon, so I felt comfortable. The interior is very nice and I had a choice of cable channels while a nice young man gave me a mani pedi. I didn’t give it 5 stars because my finger nails weren’t completely dried when I left and the Polish got smooshed. Also, one of my toenails had the polish half-rubbed off because of the foam sandals they give you, and I didn’t notice until I got home. All in all, though, it was a very pleasant experience and I plan on making Zen Nails a regular part of my pampering regimen.
