I have to agree w/Glendy G. on a certain lack of «professionalism» or savoire-faire when I did business here. Being a jeweler isn’t just about selling a stone or mineral chunk for as much $$ to subsidize one’s golf addiction. It’s about the customer. Getting to know them, and being authentic about it. That wasn’t here. I really don’t ever need to go here again. It was an emergency buy, so, the 3 stars are fair. Just OK

I entered the store to see how much I can get for my engagement ring since, we(my ex fiancé and I) broke off our engagement and I basically left the store crying because it wasn’t for the fact that I wasn’t offered any monetary value for the ring but it was for the comments that were said about what I should do with the ring were rude. First, I am sorry that I do not have a jewelry or diamond expert next to me when I am purchasing jewelry and they couldn’t tell me that the jewelry that I am about to purchase is going to be worthless, so please DON’T TELLMETHATTHERINGISWORTHLESS because honestly, the ring is not worthless because at some point in time it meant something to me, yes, I am trying to sell it because I need to pay it off but deep down it hurts that I am trying to get rid of it so, please be mindful of what you say to your clients. Second, please don’t make assumptions«you should hold on to it and make a pendant for my daughter when she gets older… or something…» Yes I know Sir with that comment your intentions were nice but you don’t know anything about my personal life for you to say something like that… I could have been going through things… Yes Unilocalers… I could be blahhhhhhhhing on right now but it’s the truth… But all I wish I could have heard was sorry I can’t not offer you anything maybe you can try getting appraised so see the true value of your ring or try going to another jewelry store… Bye have a nice day!

Honest! At least for my first experience. Thought I needed to pay for an appraisal on a piece of jewelry. Apparently I could have paid but after explaining insurance coverage to me, advised it wasn’t necessary although he would be happy to do it. Going back again!

I came here for an appraisal and was very pleased with the customer service. The owner(David) said to just come in as a walk-in(rather than schedule a visit) and he’d help me with the appraisal. When I arrived, there was a couple in there, but the wait wasn’t long and David was very easygoing and informative on the value of the different components of the piece and how he arrived at those assessments. Appraisals are $ 95 written or $ 35 verbal. He seemed very passionate about what he does and freely offered advice. I really appreciated his ability to talk on a level with me, rather than trying to push an agenda. He had a fairly extensive selection of estate jewelry, and particularly watches. It is kind of hard to find if you’re not familiar with this area, but there is parking aplenty. Recommended.

I had 2 bracelets that needed repair and one ring resized(larger) and I really hate driving, so I just looked for the jeweler closest to where I was already running errands. I also did this as a walk-in(no appointment). The work was completed a day or so before promised and I thought the work was outstanding and very fairly priced. I’m not in the market to buy jewelry anytime soon, but I will definitely go back for repairs or possibly to sell things, and I will recommend him to my friends.

i came her for a second opinion for my engagement ring. I dealt with Cheryl, who is very nice to work with. She seems to know what she was doing, she is a graduate of the GIA, and is a graduate gemologist. The price was very reasonable, just $ 95 for an appraisal, but i had all my GIA certified forms, which made it very easy to appraise. I didn’t need any appointment, just dropped by during her hours, and had my report within 30 minutes. Parking was easy to find.

I recently purchased an 18K brushed white gold ring with diamonds from Daviko Gems. My fiancé also had a necklace chain repaired. I love my ring and I know it is authentic. David stands behind the items he sells. He won’t sell you junk metal or fake gems. The necklace was repaired promptly and welded/repaired very securely; the quality of his work and craftsmanship is impeccable. David is completely honest and very fair on pricing. It is so nice to find a trustworthy jeweler who has a genuine passion for his career. Charlie is a knowledgeable and charismatic saleswoman with remarkable taste. I’ll definitely keep going back to Daviko Gems!
