I have mixed feelings about this place. They didn’t have sizes available in their shoe selection and they’re definitely over priced– clothing and accessories. But the people are extremely nice and sweet and they try to help you find what you’re looking for. I went in last time to find something to wear out for my bday and this sweet girl picked all these outfits that were adorable! Outfits I wouldn’t have put together but they also came out to be an $ 90 sequin shorts and a $ 70 tank.
So I like the place but expect to pay more than expected for it.

A lot of the stuff here is really overpriced for men. I understand they need to make a profit so I bought a T shirt that was $ 22. I looked it up online and bought another one for $ 12. I’m sure they probably got it for less then $ 10. They had a pretty large selection of men’s clothes. I’m not sure I would shop here even if I had a coupon.
Too rich for my blood.

I must say that I was surprised to read the negative comments about the
South Moon Under shop in Gaithersburg. Every time my daughter, my
wife or I have shopped there, everyone was very friendly and very helpful.
I recently purchased a shirt from a young lady named Jessie. She was
very polite, extremely helpful, and a credit to South Moon Under. I will
definitely be a returning customer.

I’ve bought quite a few things from South Moon under. Each time I go to this location, the staff is never helpful.
They are a bunch of snobby 20 something year-​olds who just walk around the store or just stand and talk to each other, but don’t greet their customers. It’s like they are too cool to be working there or something just as strange.
South Moon Under has a lot to offer. Their store is huge and they sell clothing for both men and women. In addition to high-​end clothing, they also carry designer purses and accessories, funny books, shoes (Toms, Uggs) and underwear (Spanx, panty hose).
I have a 20% off coupon which I received for my birthday. It expires soon, so I’ll try to give them another chance.
