Always awesome! There are two separate companies here. The optometrist is great, but books up quickly so call ahead for an appointment. The glasses folks are great too. They take the time to get the right glasses for my kids, and are always kind, patient and professional.

I recently came here for an eye exam… my eyes couldn’t wait any longer, they were getting worse… but I was actually quite impressed at how quickly my exam and the service was. Maybe because there wasn’t a single soul there, but that was the fastest service I’ve ever experienced through them. They have a new system where you can fill all of your information through a link online before your appointment, which made everything much easier and efficient. Anyways, I hope they keep the efficiency up!!!

This place has kind employees and the optometrist and staff are great. My granddaughter needed glasses and I didn’t know she had insurance when she got her exam. So I said no. The receptionist for Dr. Brodak said she could check and if she did, the doctor would send me a refund. Imagine my surprise to get a refund in the mail several weeks later. The pricing on the children’s glasses is pretty low compared to the 4 places at Lakeforest Mall(with the possible exception of the store in JC Penneys’). One of my daughters was in an accident, was in intensive care and rehab for months after. Her glasses were destroyed and For Eyes at this location basically gave her a new pair at a pretty deep discount. They also tried to put together the badly damaged pair, but it didn’t work.

Won’t be coming back. They had a great offer for contacts so I said yes. After the test. They asked me to pay more!!! Because my time ran out??? I don’t understand. I get that you need an exam every year but it hasn’t been. It’s only been a month! These people just sell you the exams but their service sucks! Do not go to this location!

I am typically only inclined to write Unilocal reviews if the service is amazing or otherwise extremely poor. Unfortunately, in this case, the service was poor. I walk into For Eyes on Lost Knife to look at frames and saw that the 4 associates working in the front were dealing with 4 clients, so I quietly looked a frames. I wasn’t acknowledged or greeted, but I figured I would eventually be helped after waiting my turn. Two more people walk in and I noticed the associates greeted them.(oh well). Then 2 of the associates finished with their clients and offered to help the man that JUSTWALKEDIN. In fact, another associate offered to help this same man. HELLO? Am I wearing an invisible cloak? I had chosen the frames I wanted and had my prescription and insurance card INMYHAND. It had been a good 15 minutes. This could have been quick and easy. I felt so stupid standing there while I just just being ignored. Optical stores are a dime a dozen. I don’t need this.

Awful! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My horror story: I waited 25 min to be seen for my exam. The exam itself lasted 5 minutes at most. I decided to get 2 pairs of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses, so I spent a lot of money here. When I received the glasses, I could not see clearly, so I had to get a second eye exam to confirm the prescription. However, the prescription was correct, so I was stuck with the blurry useless glasses and a huge bill. I had to get a second opinion by another doctor(more money spent) and it turns out the lenses were cut incorrectly, on all 3 glasses! Finally, after all the frustration, I decided to return the glasses and get a refund, which I was told was acceptable on the phone. When I got to the store, they would not return my money because I did not have my original receipt(ugh, you have got to be kidding me.) So after 6 visits to the store, and several battles with customer service, I was able to return the glasses and get a full refund, minus the several hours I spent there… all because someone did not bother to measure the frame of face and order the correct lenses. Do not waste your time or money here.
