Go here on a regular basis. Always drive thru. Sometimes they mess up the order, but nothing too serious(forgot a side of corn once, returned and got it 2 minutes later). Food isn’t always piping hot, but it’s fast food, not expected 5 star restarant quality. There’s always this really nice older Hispanic woman at the window who’s always smiling, make sure you hold onto her!

This is the worst KFC I have been to… Yes, they corrected the issue I am writing about, but it was a PAIN! BP and I was excited to try the Nashville Hot Chicken tenders. We bought the 12 piece basket and decided to substitute the coleslaw for mac and cheese(at no extra cost) to go along with the mashed potatoes and the four biscuits that come with the order. We waited quite a while for the carry-out order to be prepared and then left the restaurant after getting a few containers of Ranch and Finger Lickin’ Good sauces(six containers, three of each) and I was happy that we were not charged extra like I read in another Unilocaler’s review. The food smelled awesome and we could not get home fast enough… Then we opened the chicken bucket to reveal… ORIGNALCHICKENTENDERS! Why, why, why??? Where were the Nashville Hot Tenders? I looked at my receipt and saw we were rung up for the Nashville Hot(NH), but still we did not get them. BP was willing to drive back to exchange, but I was too tired and angry… The KFC isn’t even that close to us! About six miles or more away! It was very cold that night, as well. I decided on calling the KFC using the number on the receipt. The first time I called the line rang and went to a very generic voicemail box… No greeting, just an operator asking to leave a message. I left an angry message, but that’s all I could do. I called again about five minutes later and this time, the call did not connect at all! I checked the number to make sure I dialed correctly, and then called again after a few more minutes. Finally I spoke with a live person, Marta. I explained the situation and she understood. It even sounded like this sort of thing happens all the time! Marta said she’d replace the order whenever I’d come in. I thanked her and we proceeded to enjoy the food… The original tenders were pretty tasty. I thought they’d be soggy by now, but they retained the crispiness and flavor. The chicken was pretty good quality. Only about two bites had weird cartilage… The mac and cheese was awful and extremely bland. Eating glue would have more flavor. I don’t know why I wrote that because I have never eaten glue, but I’m, sticking with it… The mashed potatoes were warm and fluffy, but the gravy taste like dirty water. We both really liked the Finger Lickin’ Good sauce, BP said it must be KFC’s version of Chick-Fil-A sauce and I don’t think he’s far off. The next day we decided to go back with our receipt in hand for our replacement chicken. I explained the issue again to the staff since Marta was not there and again they understood because this must happen a lot. We were told to wait four minutes since only the problematic chicken would be replaced(not the entire meal, in case you were wondering), but ended up waiting close to 25 minutes. A mom and daughter came to order while we were waiting for the food and I don’t know exactly what they ordered, but they were given either only a partial order or the wrong items on two separate occasions! They had to have the staff correct the mistakes twice! They were smart though, they did not leave the restaurant until they made sure they had the complete and correct order. Anyway, we got home again and were still semi-excited about the Nashville Hot tenders. My first impressions were the spicy smell, the bright red-orange color, and the grease on the bottom of the container. I know this stuff is nothing close to healthy, but the amount of grease in the container was astounding. So, anyway, the chicken was SUPER, DUPER, VERY hot. The first few bites didn’t bother me, but I started to feel the sting after the first few bites. The tenders were coated very well in the spiced rub(and grease, ha ha) and I loved how crispy they were. Again, the chicken was good quality white meat, just a few bites of weird cartilage. I also liked the pickle slices tossed on top of the tenders. Take-away: Don’t return to this KFC… If I do, I’ll make sure to triple check my order before I leave and not dare use the drive-thru… They may be even worse than going into order. Nashville Hot Chicken was worth trying, but I would prefer the original to the Hot. Oh, the irony…

OMG I will never go back ever again! Okay I ordered two breasts and a thigh, I got two thighs and a leg. Like really??? The original chicken I ordered was dripping wet with oil. I really mean it was freaking dripping oil. It made me sick to even look at it. So I walked outside and gave it to a homeless man. Funny thing is I was rung up by two different people and they BOTH got my order rung. Even funnier is when the second one handed me my receipt, she told me to go fill out the survey. I said I promise I will, so make sure my order is correct. Then we LOL’ed. I filled out that survey. So if you do go there, get ANYTHINGBUT original. I know it is the best, but not at this location it is not.

I used to be a regular who bought food from this KFC as much as once a week. I don’t do that anymore because of their ridiculous new fee for condiments. I do not support businesses that nickel and dime their customers for things that are normally free, like condiments. So when the sign went up saying that they would charge $ 0.25 per packet for all sauces, I took my business across the street to Popeye’s. I still love KFC hot wings and the original recipe chicken is still as wonderful as ever. But I buy them at most any other store because none of the others seem to charge for condiments.
