Michael & signature salon have been cuting my hair for many years now, and they always manage to impress me with exceptional quality, spot on consistency, and yet always allow me to keep it real with fresh and exciting ideas. From my first cut, I knew I found my place when I said I needed something different and new, and Michael instantly assessed and tossed out cool, fresh ideas matching my style and personality perfectly, and nailed it! Something they still continue to do many years later. I always walk away super happy with a great cut! Everyone in signature salon is an amazing stylists & staffer, very knowledgeable, and they always keep it exciting and super fun! Michael & Julie always make sure that each slylist stays current on top of the latest fashion trends and forward thinking with fresh ideas and the latest cool techniques. Awesome people, to the core! They also carry the best, essential products there, and the salon is a clean, warm, welcoming environment. I really like that they continually keep the atmosphere fresh and new with constant upgrades and improvements. Every visit is a delight, and I always look forward to my 3 – 4 week haircut at signature salon!

Went in today to have me and my daughter’s hair cut. My regular person on vacation so we had the pleasure of having Michael cut our hair. My daughter is 9yrs old with very long hair. This was her 1st visit to a professional salon. Michael was absolutely amazing. When michael finished with her and started on me, she spent the entire time looking in the mirror and glaming it up. I to was very pleased with my own haircut. Michael asked me questions to find out exactly how i wanted my hair to be cut, and he accomplished what i invisioned. We both will return to have michael do our hair.

I really could have loved this salon, but I hate my haircut. I was in yesterday as a new client. The girl who cut my hair was great, I thought at first. She listened to how I described my haircut, I told her how scissor phobic I am. When she started cutting I reminded her again, not too short. I went from all of my hair being mid back to having a layer so short it looks like bangs around my entire head. I tried to hold back the tears, I mean nothing they can do after they cut my hair off, but when I got to my car I lost it. I hate my cut. I will not be back. Only go if you are OK not getting the cut you asked for.

I’ve been to this salon twice. After my last experience I had to take a star away. My stylist did a good job but for $ 140, for one strip of blonde in my hair and a cut, I really don’t want to be smelling raw sewage. They were having a plumbing issue, which I’m assuming is cleared up but they’re prices are too high for the condition of the salon. I hate to say it but due to my last experience, I won’t go back:/

Michael Sesko is a hair genius! I have been a loyal client for 15 years. He knows what I want without my even needing to say a word. He is an artist and a really nice guy! I highly recommend the experts at Signature Salon all of whom Michael has personally trained. Love, love, love!!! Kristin is a color GENIUS. I have been trying to get my hair back to blonde for a YEAR now(yes, an entire year) and I have not yet found a stylist who can and will do it. They all just keep turning it copper/orange. Then I found Kristin! She managed to get my hair REALLY blonde without really damaging it. She did an amazing job on my color. She is also very straight and to the point.(I appreciate that in a stylist.) If something is going to look bad, she’s going to tell you. She works quickly too, which is AWESOME because I don’t have to sit in the chair for two hours while she does my foils. Highlights are no longer a painful experience to sit through!!! The salon staff was excellent. Front desk girl was super-nice. There was another guy there who I believe was the owner and he was great. Came to check on me twice while I was sitting under the dryer. A little pricey(I paid a little over $ 200 not counting the tip I gave), but honestly the color I got today was worth every penny. The products they sell, however, seem quite reasonably priced. I got my protectant/leave-in for only $ 18. I would absolutely, 100% recommend this salon. Especially Kristin! Thanks to her, my ugly orange hair is gone and I have a a pretty wheat-blonde thing going on now! :)

OMG I found myself without a hair stylists who used to work at signature salon, so my husband started to get his hair cut with Dee. Every time he came home happy with his hair cut, so I decided to also give her a shot and I have to say this was the best decision I could have ever made. I defiantly recommended Dee as your next hair stylist.

Michael Sesko is a genius! I was new to this area about 4 years ago and agonized over the painful experience of trying to find a new stylist. After being butchered over and over again by crappy hair places, I finally asked a woman in a restaurant where she got her hair cut. Her cut was just gorgeous. That’s when she gave me Michael’s name and his salon name. She said she had been going to him for years. The day of my first haircut I brought in a picture of what I wanted but the moment I met him, there was just something about him that told me to just go with it. I’m very particular with my hair, it’s so long and thick. I’ve never just walked into a place and said, «do what you want» but I did. He did a FANTASTIC job. What I love about him is that he doesn’t get distracted by everything else around him. His full attention is on your head. That’s important to me because one of my previous«butchers» got so involved in her gossip with her friends that she whacked off a huge chunk of my hair. When he finished the cut and styled it I couldn’t have been happier. And the best part is that it was exactly identical to the picture I had hiding in my pocket. Just for kicks, I took the picture out and told him that I had intended on showing him this cut and he was just as shocked as I was! He just said that he knew I wanted to keep as much length as possible and knew the perfect cut for my face the second I walked into the door. He is expensive but SO worth it! I have people asking me where I get my hair cut all the time. I actually carry a couple of his cards around with me. I’ll post a picture of the cut he gave me. I just love it. The salon as a whole is nice too. The staff will offer you water or coffee. It’s very clean and pretty.

On May 1, 2010, I had a thermal hair straightening procedure done at Signature salon which cost $ 400. This was the fourth time I had it done there(I also had it done in 2007, 2008, and 2009). Per the salon’s directions, I did not wash it until May 4th, and when I did I could see it was a problem. The hair was bumpy and frizzy, completely different from the first three times I had the procedure done. I called Michael Sesko, salon owner, and I went back on May 6th. He agreed the results weren’t good and they did the procedure again. However, it still didn’t fix the problem, as my hair was still bumpy and frizzy. I called Michael on May 15, 2010, and told him the results weren’t good and I wanted my money back. He at first said no because«the results weren’t that bad.» When I protested, he said he would think about it and get back to me. After not hearing from him, I made an appointment to come back on May 27th to try to discuss this face to face. I showed him my hair. He agreed the results were bad but now he said it was my fault for not using the proper shampoo. He said that on his website it notes their policy that they do not guarantee results unless people buy their shampoos. His wife, Julie, then pulled a brochure out from a drawer on the cashier’s side of the front desk(which is not accessible to customers) and showed me this policy in the brochure. The policy is not posted anywhere in the salon. In the 12+ years I have been coming to Signature salon, I was never told this policy, nor was I ever given the brochure.(Michael did make suggestions about shampoos on every visit, but he never told me they were required for him to guarantee his services). Michael offered me a $ 200 gift certificate to the salon, but would not refund my money.
