Three of my girlfriends and I went here to paint some pottery. It was so much fun! The owner is a very nice lady and makes you feel really welcomed. We didn’t finish our projects the first session. She was nice enough to waive the $ 5 fee if we came back the same week. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help you in anyway they can.

I had a review on their old page but noticed it wasn’t showing since they moved locations so wanted to re-post. Seriously love this place! Been coming here for years and am so happy that I found out they moved and hadn’t closed! Even better? They’ve added more adult-only hours so now you can either reserve time on Thursday or just come in on Friday night and paint in a totally kid-free environment. As per usual, they have a great, friendly staff who are so helpful. I recently found out about their silk screen stencils and am hooked! I also really like that there aren’t any studio fees. While the prices look higher than other paint your own places up-front, I like knowing how much I’m going to be spending before I get to the register and not getting surprised with fees when I get there. Can’t wait to go back!

This is our favorite place to go for a relaxing and fun outing! They offer so many options for creating your own artwork that it’s hard to decide what to do. The staff are helpful and the owners are really nice! She’ll give you great tips and tricks while you work on your piece. Compared to other paint your own areas we’ve been to, this one is cleaner, friendlier, and much better priced. My kids want to go there all the time. And my friends and I love the adult’s only times.

I would leave zero stars if possible given I have waited over 25 minutes in 40 degree weather with my two young children under three years old for the store to open! Your outside hours say for Thursday at 11 AM the store opens and it’s now 11:25 with no one inside and the lights off from last night. I am extremely frustrated and I feel like this is terrible store operations. I have watched at least two other customers come by to enter and be locked out and angry as well.
everyone should try color me mine.
**Updated:** I appreciate the response and apology very much. We did have a very nice time painting a project andthe staff once there were very helpful, nice and professional. I would give overall more stars given the explanation of why the store waa late opening, just again felt that the actual person opening the store could have personally extended an apology not just a reason. :)

They have a nice array of things to paint (bowls,
Plates, stoneware, glasses, banks, figures, etc) along with paints and stencils. It’s always a lot of fun!
My negatives are: it’s much pricier than other studios in Montgomery County (~$ 24 for a bowl) in addition to a $ 5 charge if you want to come back another time and finish it (compared to other studios where that is free). Also, the staff talk on the phone and with each other often and their voices carry, making it less pleasant. It’s not the quietest place to do art.

I’ve been coming to The Amazing Arts Studio since the beginning. They offer the following: paint your own pottery, fused glass, acrylic painting, glass painting, canvas painting, and mosaic. I like how they have so many colors to paint with. It’s fun for all ages. It’s also the perfect place to have a birthday party or girls night out. On Thursdays and Fridays, adults can reserve one day in advance to work past closing time. Tonight, I came in to participate in the paint a pumpkin dish for a chance to win a party with friends contest. It’s $ 12 to paint a pumpkin dish and you get to keep the finished product after the contest. It’s only $ 9 if you purchase /work on other projects.
