Wendy’s

Customer service is pretty bad here. Most of the employees pay no mind or attention to your needs. They tend to rush you out the door and they don’t ask you if you need sauce, so make sure to tell them before they hand you your order.
Overall, my food is always hot and the fries aren’t stale. They are a little pricy but the food is better than McDonalds so I’ll suck it up. No biggy.
I’ll take a #1 please.

Stopped one day because I had gotten hammered the night before (big time redskins win vs NY!) And didn’t pack a lunch like I usually do. I wouldn’t call it Hung over or sick but after a late night with lots of drink I wasn’t looking to eat breakfast like I usually do. I got to 10:00 am and realized I was starting to drag at work. Had that «need something to eat» feeling. This location is close to where I am working and the supervisor said take an early lunch to kick the empty stomach feeling. He knew I was hitting the bottle hard the night before but I work hard, and hey unless you make a habbit of it we’ve all over done it on a work night before. Good guy.
Was hoping for some taco bell but it wasn’t open and Wendys grease should be good to absorb what was leftover in the stomach from last night. I go inside to order and wait.
And wait… The one other guy that was waiting on his order said «i thought they were working today». He got his food and several employees just looked at me. Finally one woman decides she is ready to take my order. She looked depressed. I don’t know why maybe she wasn’t awake yet, maybe she had fought with her family, boyfriend/​husband, boss, etc. All I can say is she looked like she needed a hug or a cup of coffee or both. I usually don’t pay too much attention to average or subpar service as I typically ignore it unless it is horrible or great. At first I was irratated because I needed some food and had waited for a long time. I must say something didn’t seem right. I actually felt sorry for her she didn’t seem happy. On second thought I still find it irratating. That someone else who was having a better day didn’t prevent me from standing there for 10 minutes. Just a strange experience here. If I find myself in that area I might go there again but I wouldn’t call it the best Wendy’s I’ve ever been to.

Stumbling home from the Unilocal event, my husband realized that he was so busy taking photos of Unilocalers that he totally forgot to eat! As he had a few hours of photo editing (adjusting the colors, cropping, selecting photos, etc) we decided to grab a quick bite from Wendy’s.
We pull up to the drive thru and although we spoke loudly and slowly, the cashier got the order wrong twice before finally getting our order right. However, she then mischarges us. *Sigh*. If I wasn’t si tipsy, and my husband wasn’t so eager to get home so he could review his photos, we would have asked for a manager.
Obviously, not a fan.
