This place is not open all the time and I’m actually surprised that it is still here. I do not mean that in a bad way I’m just surprised. I went to this place and I actually used to live right up the street from this place maybe just a few blocks when I was a kid. I remember speeding around the racetrack with my father. My dad did not let me go alone because I was too small. I never left we had a great time and thank you for that.

I am saddened to announce that Kartway has whittled down it’s offerings to only go Kart rides now. I worked there for two summers when I was a teenager (and my oldest sister before me) and it was a really happening place. Frozen custard (aka soft serve), burgers & dogs, etc. The little league players all came here after games for ice cream and the navy guys were always taking turns at the batting cages.
The owners Kim & Ben have had the place for more years than I can recall but as they have gotten up in their years they have found it too much to handle. I can only hope that someone will swoop in and bring the place back to it’s nostagic glory.
