Lyman Run State Park

I tent camped here for a weekend.
The park was nice. Everyone seemed pretty friendly. There is a lake for swimming, ATV trails, hiking trails, etc. This was one of the nicer state parks I’ve stayed at.
As a note, there is extremely limited cell coverage for Verizon and no cell coverage for AT&T.

Here’s another park nestled in the northern Pennsylvania Wilds area.
This park has activities for everyone including fishing, canoeing, hiking, ice skating, picnicking, snowmobiling and ATV riding, swimming and of course camping.
The park has a large lake for the water activities and there are streams filtering in and out of the lake. There are trails surrounding the lake and an interesting dam for the lake. When I was there, they had the gate to the bridge over the dam open so I assumed it was ok to wander in and snap a few pictures.
The hiking trails range from easier to a little on the strenuous side if you are hiking in one of the hills. Information also abound at this park with information on Eagles and Ospreys as well as water snakes.
This is definitely a great park for any outdoor enthusiast.
