friendly owners and atmosphere. the food could be better but it was OK. some of the rooms are outdated. I will still go back. they are located near a lot of great roads and I like that they are a motel with bar and restaurant so we don’t have to go anywear to eat and especially drink if we don’t want to.

Horrible food. Place looks like its falling down and will collapse any minute. Pretty much a biker bar. Very dirty rude staff and patrons. Food was obviously ‘re heated microwave garbage. Stay away from this run down mess and go to pine creek just down the road.

The place was clean, but could use a paint job to freshen up a bit. The lack of wi-fi in the room was a negative for me.

Beware: Avoid the hotel It is old, rundown and dirty. Also beware they require your credit card information when you make a reservation. And, although their website does not mention it(and they do not tell you when you make a reservation) their cancelation policy is forty eight hours and they DOCHARGEYOU if you have to cancel.

I just spent the weekend at the Ox Yoke Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place is a family run operation and what a great family — the owners are motorcyclists and just damn nice people. This is really three reviews for this single spot: Restaurant, Bar and accommodations(hotel/cabins). Restaurant: breakfast was tasty as can be, chicken finger snack to put down a base for myriad beers was spot on and when the guy next to me had his burger put in front of him, I was envious(and suddenly hungry again)…needless to say he made a point of telling me how good it was, frequently. Bar: PA is a strange place when it comes to booz’in…bars sell take away six packs, which to me is the strangest thing ever but, it actually turned out great for us, as we were staying at the Inn and wanted to enjoy the fire pit, down by the stream. This place reminds me of a bar that I find myself in, whenever I go to Northern WI… friendly staff, nothing fancy but, always there to fill up your beer when its empty and be part of the fun. Accommodations: you’ve got three options here — rooms, cabins or camping. I camped one night and had a room the second as I had a long drive home and didn’t want to spend two hours packing my gear before I left. The rooms are nothing fancy but, they are clean and comfortable — I didn’t see the cabins but, from the group I was with heard nothing but positives. This place has the best shower(the one on the left), in a shared(for campers) bathroom I’ve ever experienced. Better than some Hiltons I’ve stayed in… true story.
