I came to this spa and had a very good deep tissue massage. I very much enjoyed that and would put it in my list of great places for massage. But I gVe this spa three stars because the actual spa was not my favorite. They did not have enough sandals for me and my two sisters so we had to wait for her to find some. They did not keep the towels by the showers stocked or by the pool, so we had to ask for some. Then the relaxation room was not my favorite. The color coordination just was not one very appealing and calming. It was very bright with the lighting, windows and white walls. The chairs were also not very relaxing.

Very expensive, facility in need of updating(big time), service was the only reason for 4 stars– the staff really made the difference at this spa.

Organized a last minute bachelorette here. Awesome service. great massage. they were kind enough to give bachelorette a complimentary red handbag. it was quite busy on Sat but they were able to accommodate all 6 of us. Would highly recommend them. Nice and spacious than the other red door I have been to in nyc

My daughter took me for Mothers Day for a professional blowout. My hair looked awesome after 5 min. I thought she was done but she kept styling it for another half hour & it kept getting better! I didn’t know my hair could look like that! Even though it was just a blowout I was treated like royalty from the minute we walked in the door. Highly recommend.

I had a fabulous facial here this past weekend! The décor itself could use some work, as well as the registration staff — the girl who greeted us did not tell us what to do after we changed so we had to go back out to the registration area in our robes to ask where to go. Also, the waiting room as dirty — there should be an attendant to cleans up glasses, napkins, etc. The stairwell going from the changing room to the waiting room/treatment areas was industrial, and the walls could use some touchups. Beyond all of that, the treatment itself was fabulous. I had the signature facial, which lasted about 50 minutes and was very relaxing. I wish I could remember the name of the aesthetician — she wasn’t too chatty, which I appreciated, but did keep me informed of what she was doing, which I also appreciated. Overall, this was a great experience — nothing that a can of paint, some quick staff training, and a waiting room attendant couldn’t take over the top!

Its actually worth a ½ star… which is a lot in my standards. The Spa is so outdated and the showers were filthy! Management is a joke too, when I had a concern with the showers, I was told I could get a discount on the $ 500.00 day, which by the way, was not worth it in my books. I’ve traveled all over and went to many Spas, this by far was the worst! More professionalism with the front door staff too, as well as their top management. I think the Manager’s name was Lisa, not professional or personable at all! Save your money!

My husband purchased the escape package for me which included a massage and mani/pedi. First let me say that the staff were very friendly and engaging. I can’t say enough how wonderful they were. I had the Red Door signature massage for $ 140 for 50 mins. The massage was perfect she could of used more pressure but I was concerned I would be sour later. The products smelled great. The waiting room was small and they only have a small area to relax when all services are rendered. I would return for the massage. As for the mani/pedi I was surprised that they did not have a professional Spa chair but a bowel of water with marbles in it. They charged $ 240 for everything, I think for that kind of money their should be a Professional salon chair. Also after they painted my nails. I had to air dry because they did not have a UV dryer. What high end nail salon doesn’t have nail dryer? This one as a result my nails were messed up immediately they told me to sit in the Sauna so my nails dried. That didn’t work. I will be having my nails redone tomorrow at a real nail salon. As for the facilities it needs to be cleaned, painted and worn out furniture replaced. I’ve been to better spa Blue Mercury in AC and Toppers in Phila are way better. I would recommend the massages but I would stay away from the nail services. Like I said the staff was great and the experience would have been better if they had nail dryers. The package also comes with a complimentary makeup refresher. Another way to get you to waste your money. Over all just ok and for the price not really worth it.

Over rated and good for a massage and nothing more. The hair services and limited quality of pedicures/manicures are not worth it the check.

Butchered my hair! I went here in April while vacationing at the beautiful Seaview Resort to treat myself to a Red Door Haircut – so I thought! I trusted that the stylist had been trained by Elizabeth Arden staff so no need to micro manage her. My only requests were to not cut into my hair as it tends to be frizzy when layered and not to make me look matronly – just bring up the length of my bob. She cut ridiculously short layers and ended by asking if I liked it «poofed or no poof?» I swear to you. The worst haircut I have ever gotten. They agreed not to charge for it at the salon. However, I contacted the corporate offices to request that someone truly trained from the NY salon somehow style my hair, as I’ve been wearing a hat for months now. To date, I’ve left 4 messages and no one has bothered to contact me. E. Arden must be rolling in her grave. Go elsewhere – anywhere else!
