My wife and I stayed at the Seaview and it was just too cold to go find a restaurant, so we are at the Grille. What a disappointment. It is understaffed. Service was awful. We asked for an extra spoon to share soup – and never got it. I asked for more cocktail sauce for my fish and chips (which was awful – fries were soggy. Fish was terrible – and I never got the cocktail sauce. Bottom line – go somewhere else if you can.

I took my family here based on the reviews by other people. I tasted every appetizer on our table and was disappointed. The tomato soup was salty and really looked like marinara sauce to me rather than soup, the clam chowder was also salty and the Caesar salad was bland — you’re better off getting the Dole Caesar salad kit. The steaks were a bit on the dry side even though I had it cooked medium. The chocolate cake was ok but nothing spectacular. The service was good (we were the only ones there dining at that time).

This restaurant is in the Stockton Seaview Hotel. We found the food and service to be exceptional. I did send the squash soup back because of too much salt, but everything else was very good and the service was excellent.

Service was fantastic. Food was fine. The layout is weird. It’s like you’re eating in the middle of a hallway.
