Great Clips

I will never go here again. So I’ve gone here a few times and it’s hit or miss every time. I asked for a simple high and tight haircut. When I asked for the high and tight I requested a 0 buzz on the sides, a 5 on top and to fade it. Not only was this hair dresser not able to do a fade she did not know when to stop. The hair dresser pointed me in the direction of the mirror for the first time and asked how I liked it and I did at that point, it looked decent. The hairdresser proceeded to turn me away from the mirror and said she just wanted to do a little more touch ups. When the hair dresser turned me back toward the mirror the high and tight was about an inch and a half higher than we had agreed before she started cutting my hair and there wasn’t the slightest bit of a fade, so I asked if she could fade it and she said she would. After she said she faded it and turned me towards mirror for the third time it was even further up and there was no fade. My hair at this point is looking like a Mohawk. She did a few more touch ups as she turned me away from the mirror and she said it looked perfect. At this point I had a decent looking Mohawk, too bad that’s not what I wanted. I went to another barber that day and asked if they could fix my hair and they told me it would still look like a Mohawk if they faded it so I had to get my head shaved. This is the second time a barber at great clips was not able to do a fade on my hair.

I don’t get my haircut much, I tend to do it myself, a little snip here and there, Well I have a wedding to go to this weekend, so I went in so get my ends cut and I wanted a cute side bang so I can put my hair up. Well lets say this hair dresser VICTORIA (I believer that’s her name) Brunette girl who didn’t even just to interact with me, acted like she was the queen of the place. She sat me down, didn’t ask how I parted my hair after I had it all pulled back. Showed her a picture of how I’d like my bangs to be. Basically like a little bit of layering in the bangs not necessarily an INCH cut off my bangs. And I explained to her that I have thick curly hair but I straighten it, so when she layers it, do it lightly, not large chunks and do use thinking sheers on the ends. WELL GUESS WHAT she instead CUT A CHUNK OUT OF THE SIDE OF MY HEAD. My hair looks like a heart beat monitor. It literally makes no sense WHY she just cut a huge chunk out of the side of my head, no did I ask for that, I think not. Who would want chunks missing from the ONE side of their hair. ALSO that bangs. Cut all the way to behind my ears, I can have my niece cut my hair better, It wasn’t what I wanted, she didn’t ask me what I wanted, literally sat there and sucked her teeth at me. SHE SHOULD NOT CUT PEOPLES HAIR. I would really like to see her license because I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have one. She didn’t even tell me to have a good day. I still tipped her too, I hate it till this day that I tipped her because everyday I find something wrong and I have a wedding to go to. I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN. If you go BEWARE OF THE HAIRDRESSER VICTORIA.

I used to go here just about every month before I convinced my wife to cut my hair. It was always a good experience for my ridiculously simple style. Maybe once they messed it up but it was a new girl and I never saw her again.
They have an app that allows you to see the current wait time and to check you in before you get there. Very handy to save some time.

Good place to get a quick haircut for a cheap price. Especially if u r a Stockton student where u get a small discount. I would like to mention that some stylists r better then other and if u go u have to be lucky to get a good hair stylists.
