Bright new Vietnamese restaurant that outshines the crop of new Vietnamese restaurants and challenges the old guard. We started with a large portion serving of Lotus Rootlet salad which is composed of shredded young lotus roots, shredded carrots, snippets of basil and crushed peanuts which was bright and refreshing. I had the oxtail phở which had a very sweet broth with several perfectly tender pieces of oxtail but it was missing that stockpot simmering all day flavor. My husband had the Seafood Pan fried noodles. The noodles were formed and fried into a platter sized crispy«cake» and topped with plenty of seafood and an abundance of veggies. He left no evidence of the dish by the time he was finished! We have already both planned what to order on our next trip; the Banh Hoi, where you dip and wrap your own rice paper with your choice of delicious fillings and the Com Bi Cha, which is the egg quiche, shredded pork and roasted rice powder. Directions: when coming off the Garden State the restaurant is on your left tucked in the far left corner of a small mall. It’s a little hard to spot but well worth finding. Your belly will be well rewarded.

I got the oxtail phở to go. It filled me up and the oxtails were so tender. I highly recommend it my only slight complaint was there were 5 pieces of oxtail in the broth but it still filled me up.

The chicken Bahn Mi is terrific. Phở Ga is wonderful and flavorful. Highly recommended and the service is excellent.

Hidden away in a corner of Galloway Township’s mysterious Town Center«shopping complex»(A center whose entire intent always seemed to be a reduction in business for the town’s Smithville shopping area but that’s for political historians to discuss.) is this gem. Bright, clean and full of enticement as we walked through the doors with a very tight schedule. Extremely pleasant service was enhanced by the quick delivery of lunch and lunch was sooooo good. Vietnamese cuisine brings to my mind a fresh blend of ingredients that makes your mouth come alive with each bite. You expect a nice selection of sauces on your table allowing your creativity to go to work. The portions were plentiful and the veggies crisp and fresh. Sauces were yummy and meat/shrimp cooked perfectly. They take STOCKTONCASH so college kids are welcome and that should get kids coming down Jimmy Leeds to this hidden bistro. I so wanted to award a FIVESTAR but the take out menu had items crossed out. Confusion with a menu is something that needs immediate attention even when there are tight start up budgets. Truthfully if you enjoy Vietnamese & you are in Galloway/Absecon make this a regular stop on your dining adventures!

It’s true that Galloway does not have much variety in restaurants. Last week we decided to try something new and found this place right behind the Dunkin’ Donuts. Having only had Vietnamese once before, I was not sure what to expect. The place is clean and wait staff was friendly and helpful, answering questions about the menu. The food was fresh and delicious, we had a chicken and vermicelli dish that was very good and the bahn mei sandwiches were excellent. After asking about the level of heat in the noodle dish, you would think the waiter might have mentioned that the sandwiches we ordered had big slices of jalapeño. But we figured that out the hard way. ;) Aside from that, lunch was served fast, hot, and delicious. Prices are fair, and then as a bonus, 10% discount for checking in on Unilocal. This was my lucky day! I’ve seen many restaurants come and go in the area, I hope this one is still around when I come back!

We went there on March 28th and are probably going back next week. Wish they were a little closer, I’d be doing regular take out all the time. Waitress was extremely helpful as we were new to this style of food. Smells heavenly when you walk in. I am looking to trying more of the different dishes. First trip out it was the Shrimp soup and Charbroiled Pork. The soup was really large, so I ended up with a bit to take home. Everything was delicious!

Great friendly service but average food from what I’ve seen and tried. Bbq pork not red charred like I usually get it. Spring roll average. I need to try the Phở as the vermicelli doesn’t call me back at all. I like the rice noodle, BBQ pork and spring roll dish. The place in the Asian MKT in P Ville blows their away sorry to say. Extra star for the exceptional service otherwise 3.

Soup noodles were weird almost like an undercooked texture. My boyfriend and I placed and order for pick up being the spicy beef soup and large shrimp noodle soup and we were both dissatisfied. The spicy beef soup was actually flavorless to our suprise. The people there seemed pretty nice but I wouldn’t suggest dining there if you’re looking for good soups. I’d suggest Phở life

It’s a new restaurant in Galloway Township. The staff members were friendly and greeted us with a smile on their faces. Service was prompt and the food was served on a timely fashion. The servers were very attentive. Food is great. The place is clean and neat. The ambience is very welcoming. When I checked in on Unilocal,a 10% discount was offered which we got to redeem right away. This restaurant is highly recommended. By far, I think this is one of the best if not the best Phở restaurants I have been to in terms of food and service… I will surely return…

Pretty awesome to finally find a good local Phở joint in the Galloway area! It’s clean, the staff is super friendly and attentive, there’s ample parking, and the food is very flavorful. I like the simple décor and TV displays. We’ll definitely be back!

Very good! First time here, and certainly won’t be my last. I love that my parents live close to this place, so there will be multiple opportunities to enjoy a great meal! The whole family ordered the House Special($ 11) which includes beef brisket, eye round steak, tripe, tendon & beef ball. It felt like within minutes, our phở came! The broth was super tasty, and it contained lots of meat and noodles. You can’t go wrong! Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is bright, clean, and I love the red chairs! I used the Unilocal app to score 10% off my check. Can’t wait to come back here again!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Staff was super nice and phở was very tasty. Great to have a Vietnamese restaurant near my parents house when I visit. Phở broth was flavorful and beef was tender. Would definitely return. The décor is nice too, a lot trendier than other phở places in the area.

What a shiny, new little gem in Galloway! Friendly and fast service. Vegetarian/vegan friendly. I work at the day spa 3 doors down and have been ordering from them every day! I’ve been ordering the Lotus Rootlet salad and Bahn Mi, both with wonderfully fried tofu instead of meat and I just ask them to leave out the fish sauce. I can’t get enough of this place!

At the time of this review Oxtail has been open for 3 days and it is PACKED with people. Galloway has been kicking and screaming for something other than pizza, subs and mediocre Italian food to graze upon. It’s a long time coming so let’s hope it continues to be well received. We ordered a charbroiled beef Banh Mi Bo Nuong(charbroiled beef) & a bowl of Phở Ga(boneless chicken) Taking into consideration that this place was jammed the service was good and the server was friendly. The Phở was a decent portion and is served with the typical sprouts, etc. The Banh Mi was also very good with a fresh crispy french long roll and the usual garnishes of pickled carrot, daikon, etc. The prices are a little above the standard of other similar places that have been popping up in and around Atlantic County but still worth it.

New Vietnamese restaurant. Cozy, friendly great place to dine. Perfect for a quick lunch break. Or that’s hangover fix. Phở fixes everything.
