I was on a cross country trip from CA and needed my hair colored and cut. I wanted a salon that carried my Loreal product. This salon was recommended to me. When I called for an appointment, I was told they didn’t carry that product but they would see if they could get it. They called me back to say it was being rush ordered from their rep. Jessica was my stylist and I asked for a short hair cut (kind of pixie with height on the top) so I could live with the humidity I wasn’t use to! Jessica did an awesome job and my husband really likes it. He just complimented me again and it’s been almost 3 weeks. This salon went above and beyond and I so appreciated all they did.

Atmosphere is a tucked away, shotgun style hair salon on 23^rd St. The storefront is deceiving, inside is spacious and appropriately feminine. Cheryl puts you at ease and knows how to cut curly/​wavy hair.

Roxanne is great! My cut and color are always spot on. She is great about staying on top of trends, which help me to stay fresh looking with out looking to edgy. Judging by others whose hair she cuts, she is very versatile and you can count on her to give you the look you want. My color is perfect each time. Thanks, Atmosphere!

Just visiting and took a chance on this gem of a salon. When I called, Nancy made me a prompt appointment with Jessica. Jessica did a great job reshaping my short thick hair into a chic new look. Fun and comfortable atmosphere… wish I lived here because I would go back.

This salon is stellar. The second I walked in the door everyone was super friendly offering me a beverage and making me feel comfortable. I’m new to the area and have really long hair so it can be hard trusting someone new with your style and groove. All I had to tell Rob were a couple of expectations I had and he immediately knew just what to do. The stylists offered exceptional company and had thoughtful conversation. The pricing was super reasonable and not to mention they were even holding a donation/​drive to collect money for local teenage girls to buy prom dresses!!! You can’t go wrong with this place.

Changing salon/​stylist is very difficult — especially since I have had the same stylist for 10 years! But we recently moved to Galveston & I knew I had to make the change. After looking at the good reviews for this salon, I decided to take a chance. I was badly overdue but they gave me an appointment right away with Rob, who they assured me was good with short trendy haircuts. They were absolutely right! I was delighted & amazed that he could get it right on the first visit. Everyone there was very nice & fun, and Rob was very considerate of my requests. This was a great experience and I am looking forward to my next visit!

I followed my stylist, Rob Wilkerson, who switched to Atmosphere from another salon. Galveston is a little out of the way for me, but this salon is so worth the drive! The atmosphere is chic and relaxed. The owner is professional, friendly and accommodating. Rob is the best stylist EVER and I can’t wait to get a massage and facial here soon. I’ll be back for sure!

Have used the same stylist for 10 years but he was recently injured which forced me to look elsewhere. Since we are islanders on the weekend I decided to try someone here. I spoke with Nancy and she accommodated everything I needed and I made an appt with rob. I ran into a lady in town and loved her hair and Rob had done it too. Had my appt today. Great atmosphere:) and truly Rob gave me the best cut and color I have ever had!!! I have a new stylist and a new salon! You won’t be disappointed!

Just moved here and was really apprehensive about letting someone new cut and color my hair… after all… lets just keep it real… a new stylist is about as personal as a new physician, babysitter, therapist. My hair style is challenging because it a fine balance between fashion forward and the need to be professional– short to the point of cool but too short and I would look like a guy… I walked out a really happy girl! THANK YOU… I will be back! The salon is very nice…“Atmosphere” is the perfect name for this business. I am looking forward to trying the facial services… this gem could be my one stop shop on the island.

What an unexpected pleasure this first class salon is! I arranged for the groom’s side of a wedding psrty to have hair and makep services done here. From the moment I spoke with Nancy (the multi talented receptionist) I knew we would be in good hands and were not disappointed! Deana is amazing with artistry of making her applications look natural and last all night. Erin and the girl that did my up do (forgive me for not remembering) were great with advice and made all our hair look fantastic! We were served mimosas and treated like royalty! I will make it my business to come back here on my many future visits to my son and new daughter in law. I highly recommend them !

Needed a haircut and color so bad after relocating to the island. Been going to an excellent stylist and colorist in Phoenix for years. I had heard Erin’s name come up a few times so I decided to book an appointment. She was great with both the cut and the color and it was a refreshing change. I would recommend her to anybody. She’s Galveston with a west coast flair.

I visited Atmosphere for the first time on Saturday to get my hair trimmed. I called a few days in advance to make an appointment since it was my first time getting my hair done in Galveston. This place had great reviews so I gave them a call. I walked in to a nice, trendy salon and a comfy lounging area. There are lots of magazines to browse through while you wait. The receptionist asked me if I wanted something to drink while I waited and helped me feel welcome. Finally my hair stylist came over to meet me and lead me to her booth area. She asked very specific questions about what I wanted and made sure that she understood. I have a lot of hair and its taken me a long time to get it the way I wanted it. She did a great job and was a friendly conversationalist. I will be back here for all my hair needs and possibly a massage soon!

Had my first ever massage, very relaxing! Excellent job, though I don’t have anything to compare it to, very clean place, great atmosphere.
