I thought that I’d never find a shaved ice place as good as Josh’s in Tulsa (my old hometown favorite) but Bahama Bucks will fill the void for me. Friendly service, a zillion flavors, super smooth ice, just the right amount of pour. It’s a winner and my new Galveston Island shaved ice favorite.

This was my first time to a Bahama Buck’s and I must say I was impressed. Great atmosphere and beverages. I am not even a snow cone fan, but with all the options they have we were able to find something for the entire group.

This place has top quality shaved ice with many delicious flavors. No reason to fly all of the way to Hawaii for shaved ice. It’s right here. All 7 of us enjoyed this place. We’ll be back!

Finally tried the sour patch kid, and Woo-​wee! It was just too sour for me. I thought I would like because I like sour candy, but that! Oh no… I’ll try the birthday cake next time. I should have asked for a sample… But Im a risk taker. Tell we meet again Bahama Buck’s!!!

had the lemon lime served w/​a cute little umbrella!
[but, there are probably 50 flavors]
it was so tasty… all the way to the end!
place has a beach theme but, not so much the beach vibe… and being that this location is on an island… it could be half the size and more authentic to that particular way of living.
i do hope they make it here… cuz, they’re good!

Everyone I know was excited about the opening of this place that I had never heard of. I mean, snow cones are good, but they’re just for kids, right? Turns out I was wrong. Bahama bucks is a great place to grab dessert no matter your age. I had a snow cone with ice cream on bottom, and it was perfect! They have every flavor you could possibly think of, plus more. Some of the interesting ones include: birthday cake, wedding cake, Tigers blood, and pickle juice. Of course they have your age-​old favorites as well like cherry, blue raspberry, and piña colada.

Wow. So yummy. The ice melts in your mouth. We came here by chance and it’s amazing! We tried the shaved ice and have come back another time since— we were craving the deliciousness.
They have options for everyone– sodas, ice cream, shaved ice, fruit, and you can drink, blend, eat all of it. They have sugar free options too. They also have board games and other games at the store you can play. AND they have usb chargers so you can charge your phone or gadget while hanging out.
Def recommend. They were super helpful and friendly. We changed our order after not liking a flavor and they were accommodating. Thank you!
