Schlotzsky’s

This location is AWFUL. Not only did it take forever for my food to come out but they messed up my order several times. I ordered a turkey bacon club with no cheese or mayo. The guy working behind the register seemed very nice and read my order out loud. So I said yes that is what I want. While my friend was already eating his food. They finally brought mine out after 25 minutes! The first round had literally bread and turkey. That is it. So I took it back to the counter and told them they forgot everything that comes with the sandwich like lettuce, bacon, tomato, and onions. He appolgized and took it back. I sat back down and another family came in to eat to. They had their own issues like their pizza was cold, bread was hard as rock, took forever to come out etc. Anyways, I waited another 20 minutes for my food to come out because my friend was finishing. When they brought my sandwich back out it had everything on it. Vegetables, mayo and cheese (which I had asked no mayo or cheese) but this time it had NO turkey on it! What is a sandwich without meat? I was so furious. The manager came out talking to the family because they wanted a refund and I did to. He didn’t seem to care at all! He told the family that we would get our refunds if we went online and did it ourselves! Like you gave us terrible food that WE paid for and you’re going to tell us WE have to go do our own refund online? Lazy management and food is awful! Wouldn’t go back here and don’t recommend it either.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza, pasta carbonara, and a Cinnabon roll. The pizza and pasta were good, but the Cinnabon wasn’t that great.

I love the tomato basil soup, but more importantly the service is great here. There is a gentleman working in the drive-​thru today (Andrew) that is super nice. It’s nice to go somewhere and get treated like a valued customer.

Lonnie Johnson, the manager, catered a lunch for me at UTMB and it came off perfectly!
The food was right the drinks were right the dessert was right the delivery was on time!
I will most definitely use him for catering again.

Really? I remember the cinnamon rolls being much better than this at Cinnabon. The sandwiches are OK. The staff was nice enough, but with other places to snag a bite, I won’t be returning here

We have been here twice and both times the food was great and friendly service. First time we have had the pizza and loved it. Don’t forget to download their app to get rewards!

The new owner sucks. They put half as much meat on the sandwiches as they used to. The menu seems like it is different every time we go… won’t be back. FYI the old owners own the one in Texas City.

Rochon Mims you are a rockstar! I would give them 10 star if I can! We went around 9:50 pm right before it was going to close since it took a bit longer on the fairy then expected. From the moment we entered he was the friendliest person I have ever met at a restaurant!
1) He did not make a face or rush us because it was 10 minutes to close.
2) He was gentle, caring and warm! Said I am here till 11pm so take your time and enjoy!
3) My little 2 yrs was hungry and she ended up eating quite a bit of the small sandwich that my wife was going to eat. It was now around 10:20 PM and rest of staff had left. I told him any other food I could order. Rochon, was like let me make it for you, the staff is gone but I will make it for you and took out the stuff he had put away. He was like I know how it is with Kids.
**Schlotzskys management this is what you call service ** He was like I have a little one and I know how it is so anything I could do to help.
Overall the food was great, but the service was to remember for. You could tell as a manager Rochon enjoyed what he was doing and he cared about taking care of his customers.
10 Stars for service, and I will go back and eat again and hopefully meet Rochon again. Most of my reviews are related to service and you my friend have topped the list so far : —)

Cinnamon rolls are off the hook, across the road from the beach so it’s kind of busy. Be patient!0

Typically I don’t like Schlotzky’s but I go because my fiancé does. I was very pleasantly surprised by this location. The bread is always hot and fresh and they give you a large portion of toppings on your sandwich, both things make their sandwich taste much better than the other locations.
Also to be noted this location has self serve soft serve ice cream and cinnabon. The view is really nice since it overlooks the beach.
