Emerald By The Sea Condominiums

Well, four stars for the location, location, location! We found this place after countless searches for beach houses, penthouses, and houses for rent on the island… just for a weekend getaway. I found this listing on Gulf Coast Concierge. You can book from the website, but I had about a billion questions, so I gave them a call. They were so helpful! Rick suggested a unit that accommodated what we needed (2 BR/​2 BH) and wham bam… we were set up.
When we got to the condo we just checked in and were good to go for the weekend! What a great view! A balcony overlooking the Gulf! The condo was fully stocked with dishes and linens. I would however recommend bringing provisions for your weekend stay (i.e. paper towels, extra toilet paper, laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap). I would also suggest that the kitchen be a little better stocked as far as dishes. The condo was for six and there weren’t even 6 sets of dishes, but we did make due.
I think the Gulf Coast Concierge is the management for the condo that others rent out, and I am also assuming that they hire the cleaning company, so I would suggest to them about a little bit more thorough with the cleaning. But in the end, we had a great time and the place was just what we needed.
There is a huge pool area with a great pool and even better hot tub! Fountains, and lounge areas. There is also a sunken grill area to whip up your own party. I heard rumors of a fitness center (yeah, right… I was on vacation) and a movie theatre that could be rented out!
The parking is secure and easy to access from the elevators. The price for the entire weekend was fairly comparable to any hotel on the island, especially one that could accommodate a bunch of girls for three days!
