I love this place! I fell in love with it the first time I walked in. They have quite an array of Mexican pastries, and a few other things thrown in there. My favourites are the empanadas(which they have like, 5 or 6 different flavours) – pineapple, cream, pecan, etc. Their churros are also delicious. Another one I like are the yoyo de fresas. Pertaining to the prices, they’re also relatively cheap. I went out with a bag full of pastries worth $ 3.50. I am in such hail of this place. I do agree that they should have paper to go with the trays, but that can be improved. The bakery also has a mini store inside with Mexican delicacies and other items. The only thing is that they have a $ 10 minimum debit/credit purchase so bring cash!

Love Mexican bakeries. Went here with the kiddos & saw a roach running along a plate of pastries. No thanks!

Great, cheap Mexican bakery! It looks like a little convenience store from the outside. Well, I guess it kinda is but they have cases of delicious baked goods as well. When you walk in you grab tongs and a tray and fill said tray with whatever you want. They have empenadas, cookies, pastries, cheesecake and even some bread options. I was on a mission to grab desserts for a New Years get together at our friends home so I grabbed a little bit of everything and filled the tray. I walked up with my items and she added everything on the register. The total came out to be $ 11.50. Are you serious? I just spent barely any money on good quality baked goods that might cost a small fortune at any other swanky place. I tasted a little bit of everything and it was all wonderful. The only thing I would recommend is having more tissue/parchment paper available because just setting the baked goods on a tray is a little unsanitary.

Great little bakery. Lots of cookies and cakes to choose from — that are baked at the premises. It smelled wonderful as soon as we walked in the door. Prices were reasonable and bakery items were very fresh. I would definitely stop by again when in Galveston.
