Upholstery Plus Fabrics

It was our pleasure to meet Christine Becker at Upholstery Plus. We planned on reupholstering four chairs from the 1800s, but decided to let Christine and her staff do the job. We were thrilled with that decision. She knew how special these chairs were and did an excellent job. Christine promised she would have them ready in three weeks. Within one week they were ready for pickup. Our dining room became an ecclectic work of art with the addition of those beautiful chairs. It was a true pleasure working with Christine at Upholstery Plus. I would highly recommend Christine and her company.

I called and inquired about having an antique seat cushion upholstered and a top to a stool upholstered. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. She flat out told me, «I’m not interested in your project.» No apologies. No, I’m sorry. She also berated me and said I needed a seamstress not an upholsterer, which is inaccurate.
Luckily, I found someone else on the island that was so happy to help me and receive my business and did an outstanding job for me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. She’s not the only one that can upholster on the island or in the Houston area for that matter. I’m glad I didn’t give her a penny of my money. I have no tolerance for people in business that don’t understand the importance of customer service and what a first impression a telephone call can make. She needs to take a business etiquette class… and soon.
