I really enjoyed this place. I’d talked to a few friends who gave it mixed reviews. One reason I initially avoided going. However, I decided to go with a couple of friends. I had the burger and my friends had something different. Fish, appetizers, etc. We all came to the same conclusion. It was great food! I’ve since gone back a few times. If you’re a beer lover, you must hit this place. Over 100 different brews ranging from heavy to lighter brews. The Tap House is a must.

So far so good. Checked in not too busy. They had just cleared out from paint night. We placed an order for calamari, pretzels and cheese and mahi mahi tacos. For entrees we ordered pulled pork, Reuben sandwich, made to order pizza and the crab cake meal. They have a huge menu for on tap for beer which is a little overwhelming since beer is not my forte. Food arrived in perfect time! Everything was steaming hot and I mean steaming hot. Food was good not great but I would return again with the family.

Salads Third time visiting FRISCO. Last month I ordered goat cheese salad and added salmon. This time I ordered spinach salad with salmon. The salmon is 6.50 add on each time. But last month it was approx 6 – 8 oz and today 3 oz. it was still good and I totally understand food cost but such a change was a bit shocking. Pizza Was nothing special. We created a vegetable pizza. The sauce was blah. The dough didn’t have the beer flavor I expected from a tap house. They waitress informed me the cheese was fresh mozzarella and it wasn’t or maybe it was very little cheese and it came Luke warm that caused me to question her knowledge on ingredients. Mussels Again below average. We ordered as described on the menu. And wasn’t pleased. The bread was nice and crusty. The sauce requires herbs. Wings Are very very very GOOD. The sauce was flavorful and since I was missing a few ounces of protein on my salad. I’m happy my sister in law shared her wings. Salmon entrée My brother had the salmon entrée and he liked it. It appeared to be the size of salmon I got on my salad the first couple times I came. The pesto sauce was perfect Burger From what I gathered from the other guest the burgers are good and juicy. And fries are have cut so I was pleased. Side Fries The fries are plated in a flat square plate which takes away from the experience. It creates the image the customer is only getting a few fries. If they were in a basket, bowl, cone or mini galvanized bucket; it would add excitement, illusion of volume and maybe promote itself to surrounding customers. Peel and eat Perfect no complaints. Way better than the mussels Beer selection Wide range. Very good. But a menu of all beers(tap and bottle) at the table would nice, especially since the waitress did not have much knowledge on bottled beers. She pointed to the ceiling were the bottles are located. «REALLY»!! Yeah I wasn’t wasting time looking up. Service It was busy and we were seated quickly. Waitress tried her best. She wasn’t perfect but I’ve had(compared to my previous visits) but I liked her. Overall I would go again, especially for large crowds. The prices are good. But in a area were mostly chain restaurants, if I’m in the area FRISCO is the better option. I’m better educated on the menu and know what exactly to order the next time.

I had high hopes for this place and as for drinks and beers, they delivered. Service was great too, no complaints there. The two stars are for the food. It was underwhelming to say the least. I checked out the menu online and it looked pretty decent. We got crab dip, chips and queso, and soft pretzels. The pretzels tasted like they had freezer burn, with blah dipping sauces. The chips and queso were good but it would be a serious travesty if that wasn’t executed properly. The crab dip was surrounded by Zeppoli like bread but those also didn’t taste fresh and the crab dip was not that flavorful. The highlights were the bloody Mary’s with bacon, and the Crispin cider on tap. I realize most people come for the vast selection of beers on tap, and that it is a bar restaurant but perhaps they can work on improving the quality of the food. Per person it was $ 43 before tip. We left $ 20 because it was a slow Sunday and Alan was very nice. He did a great job and in no way were we going to complain about the food. Everyone knows if you send food back it can have dubious consequences. I would go again to meet for drinks but I likely wouldn’t order food. We enjoyed sitting in our spacious booth catching up and we did eat most of the food because we were hungry so we didn’t want to be those people and complain.

This place is tucked away in a light industrial area, and needs a bigger sign, because it really is a find. Fantastic selection of beers, including some nice choices brewed on the premises. Vegetarian choices are limited. The have a veggie sandwich, but it needed more mushroom and less squash. They also offer a good deal on a veggie burrito. Having a veggie patty for their selection of burgers would be a great improvement! Best part about the place, I was there for lunch mid-week, is the friendly people. The bartender was generous with tasters, and I had a great talk with the brew-master. There is a man who loves his job! As a final note, they have the coolest salt-water fish tank I’ve seen in the area.

I have mixed feelings for this restaurant. I have heard great things about Frisco Tap House in Columbia, but this location is so much more convenient for me. I have been here a few times and have had a different experience each time. The Good: I’ve walked in to no wait every visit(Friday night, early afternoon on Saturday, Saturday night). This could be a good thing or perhaps a tell tale sign of a mediocre business. Either way, I like not having to wait. Nice beer selection which also features some local breweries. Spacious, open concept with plenty of seating. Also, plenty of parking! The Okay: Food is average. I have never had anything that has blown my socks off. Fish and chips were served piping hot, but overall average in taste. Rose chicken was also good, not amazing. Beeramisu was an interesting take on tiramisu. Service has been hit or miss. The Questionable: Upon my first visit, I asked if there was any type of cocktail menu. I was informed that while they had a full bar, I had to specifically request a drink for them to make as they do not have an official cocktail menu. Come on! Every restaurant has some type of cocktail menu! Why even have a full bar? At least come up with a few«Tap House» inspired cocktails for people that do not primarily consume beer. Speaking of beer, the beer menu is very hard to read. It is posted on big screen T.V.‘s on the side wall. If you’re sitting at a booth, you have to angle your head up to read. Forget about seeing if you are seated in the middle of the restaurant. Also, there are no descriptions for the beers, unlike Victoria Gastro Pub or Ale House Columbia. I’m sure this method is easy for switching seasonal selections and environmentally friendly; however, it is not user friendly.

If you are looking for a great selection of beer, Greg, our waiter, knows his stuff. Not sure, Greg will give you a taste. If you are looking for an excellent meal, this is not the place. The food is OK. In our party the Buffalo burger was sent back and still was over cooked.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night. Okay so the service was good but here is when I start to complain. They have over 100+ beers on the menu reader board. I’m not familiar with the beers around here so I tell our server I like a good amber… they literally didn’t have ONE amber on the list! That to me is shocking. So he tells me I’ll like a beer that isn’t an amber but close to it and tastes similar. When I get my beer I get this… I can’t remember the name but it looks and tastes more like a porter. If you’re going to work at a tap house know your beers. The food like others said was just okay, nothing to write home about. It was pricey too. I doubt we’ll be coming back.

LOVED!!! Only gave 4 stars because the beer menu is hard to read. The food was GREAT! They opened early for us and the food was so good. Crab dip was awesome but could be a little bigger but the presentation was gorgeous. Staff was friendly and easy going. Open layout has a relaxed feel I could hang out here but there is nothing to do. It set up like a restaurant not pub.

My cohost and I decided to have our«Refuse to Lose» Washington Football Playoff party at Friscos and it proved to be a terrific decision. We were expecting roughly 15 people and pre-coordination with management was a breeze. Most of our party arrived at 4pm and our designated area was already set. The restaurant itself was clean, well lit, had lots of TVs, and I loved the open layout with booths on the side. We immediately started ordering drinks including the NFL Burgundy & Gold margarita and those spicy wings. As the night went on, we ordered more drinks, chips & salsa, wings, sandwiches, fish tacos, and pizza. The pear/gorgonzola(+ sausage) & pepperoni/sausage pizzas both looked fresh and smelled delicious. Our server was attentive and did a great job keeping our orders straight despite our party steadily increasing in size. At times, we got loud either from stuff happening in the football game or the shenanigans at our table, and received no dirty looks or management warnings. I absolutely enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning. This brewery is one of Crofton’s best kept secrets. Special shout-outs to all those who made this a memorable event including my cohost Spencer, Jonathan, Adam(aka Turtle), Tracy & friends, Lynne, Katrina G., Ieesha, Rae, and the person harassed the most that night Cowboys fan Greg B.

If you like craft beer, you’ve got to check this out. I’m a craft beer guy and this place takes me beyond my comfort zone… they have over a 100 beers on tap, they regularly have tap takeovers, and they have plenty of televisions to watch the game on. I’m marking them down for two reasons, the last three times I’ve been in the service has been average at best. The food is also hit or miss. Stick with the appetizers. In fact, more specifically, stick with the wings… they are amazing and I’m a Buffalo guy…

We stopped by for some an appetizer lunch and found pleasant service, but mostly average food. +++Runzas = tasty, I was shocked to see these on the menu and this slightly gourmet version did not disappoint. Yum Onion rings = okay, nothing special. Calamari = blandish Muscles = okay Hot wings = okay, I wouldn’t of out of my way to order them again The assortments of apps were nothing to write home about, but decent.

Sunday night trivia was a good time, they have a big beer selection and the place is large(no wait for a table) and seems well kept and clean. I wasn’t crazy about the food itself, thought it was okay. Maybe we didn’t get the right thing. I’d definitely give it another shot.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why on a big game Monday Night this place was practically empty. It bothers me to no end to not know. We thought we’d catch Cowboys/Redskins at a bar with great beers, good food and screaming fans. Frisco provided on most fronts. The beers I had were great and at the same time reasonably priced for a Tap bar. I had the house brand Reckless and was super satisfied with the beer and the $ 4.50 price point. We ate standard bar foods burgers, wings and pizza all of which came out of the kitchen pretty fast, hot and damn good. I highly recommend the wings which are grilled not fried and have a world of flavor. I’m sure to be back, there are another 90 beers I need to try and 200 rabid screaming football fans missing.

SOFAT. SOGOOD… SOFAT. If you are trying to stick to your diet, stay far, far away from here. If, however, you are in the mood for sinful delectableness, COMEHERESTAT. I did not drink, but hubby says their bar is extensive and over 100 different beer options. Staggering. Impressive. Their menu also does not disappoint! We started with their chicken wings, which had some Asian chili kick to it, and lots of flavor. If their blue cheese wasn’t homemade, it sure tasted it! They have build your own pizzas, so hubby got a four cheese white pizza and added chorizo! It was solo different and so delicious! I had the grilled chicken mozzarella panini with onion rings and their house chipotle aioli sauce. Um, I intended on eating only half and I should’ve known my pig self better. I ate it all, no apologies! Price point is very reasonable(my sandwich plus onion rings was under $ 10), and if you are into sports bars, they have TVs all around playing various sport games. Service was a bit slow and my friend found a few chicken bones in his chicken egg roll. I definitely enjoyed the amount of beer/ciders they had available and my corn-dusted chicken sandwich was tasty — fries were a little on the soggy side. Overall, big enough to have a large group or head there for a good happy hour drink.

Another conflicted review. The wings were VERY good, the onion rings were VERY good and the two IPA pints were ice cold and delicious. This place used to be the defunct Damon’s restaurant which was an unique Sports bar experience. They have done a complete remodel job. When you first walk in, there is a more intimate dining area to the immediate right. Once you walk into the huge dining area, it has a cafeteria feel with a lot of long bench seating. Once you look further, they have added couches and comfy chairs to create their version of a lounge area. Okay, this is Crofton. Crofton has A LOT of restaurant options and Bowie is right down the street. This place is new so of course everybody wants to see the new kid on the block. Let’s keep it real people, this is nothing more than a sports bar with an EXTREMELY limited menu. That being said, here we go. 8 wings $ 12, small order of onion rings $ 5, 10oz beer $ 9×2=$ 18. Total $ 44 bucks when I added $ 7 tip. There is NOTHING so special about this place for them to demand these prices. Keeping it really real, Buffalo Wild wings or even Glory Days has this place beat for a considerable amount less. Well I saw the new kid on the block and quite frankly, I wasn’t impressed. New doesn’t mean better!
