Where to start? My daughter has been with this Gymboree staff ever since she was 4 or 5 months old and they were still in Millersville. We followed them to this new location and couldn’t have been happier. My daughter is now 2 years old and Ms. Amy, Ms. Susan, Ms. Trisha, and the rest of the staff have become family. My daughter’s first steps EVER were actually to Ms. Amy! My husband happened to take my daughter to music class that day while I was at the gym when the milestone happened. Normally, I would have been sad to miss such a milestone, but the fact that the steps were to Ms. Amy just warmed my heart and seemed very fitting — it just showed the love my daughter has for her and how much she knows Ms. Amy loves her as well. They have seen her go from just an infant learning to crawl to a toddler who loves to dance, hi-five the mommies and daddies in classes, play the symbols with gusto, and chase bubbles with the best of them. This past weekend, we hosted my daughter’s second birthday at Gymboree with Ms. Susan and they just further proved how awesome they were. As you know, these parties aren’t cheap(lol), but boy — was it worth every single dime! Ms. Susan perfectly tailored the party to our daughter’s preference and was in super communication with me prior to the event to make sure she had everything just the way we wanted. When we arrived, she was quick to help me set up, decorate, get the tables set, etc. She lead a fabulous party for 20 toddlers who were all happy and engaged and having a ball. She happily passed out pizzas, gift bags, and didn’t rush the kiddies when it took them a long time to eat, saying that she didn’t have another party after ours so that we shouldn’t feel too rushed. Talk about above and beyond! My daughter started early preschool this week, so our time at Gymboree is unfortunately coming to an end. We travel on the weekends a lot, so even that is out. And I’ll tell ya what: I think I am sadder about it than even my daughter! lol! Gymboree has become such a great part of our lives, full of memories, and people who genuinely, genuinely care about our family. We got way more than we bargained for when we signed up for classes here. I thought it would just be a fun thing to do with my daughter as a baby and it turned into so much more than that — a place where we not only bonded as mommy/daughter/daddy, but also bonded with the staff. A heartfelt THANKYOU to the entire staff here from the top down. I will continue to sing their praises to all my mommy and daddy friends.
