My daughter started attending La Petite at 16 weeks old. Miss Debbie(still there) and Miss Vickie(no longer there) were exceptional teachers. Miss Debbie is extremely nurturing and seems to never tire. Then it started to happen within just a few months. Turnover. We attended La Petite for 2.5 years and in that time, we have had 5 directors and 4 assistant directors. The only reason there aren’t 5 assistant directors is because they haven’t hired anyone new yet. That’s a lot of turnover in management. Not to mention ALL the GREAT teachers that are no longer there. I felt like my voice was not being heard. With the new director they brought in, yes, she was making changes, but she was making them fast and hard and not communicating with the parents. With her, there is no «grey» area, only black and white… hey management, guess what? Some of the best businesses are run with that«grey» area. Sometimes you need to bend, not break, the rules, to satisfy your customers. I do believe that La Petite is trying to turn a new leaf but I didn’t want to wait another 2.5 years to see it. My daughter is academically advanced. I had asked the daycare to move her from the 3 classroom to the 4 classroom because she is BORED(she is currently 3 years old). They did an assessment and told me that yes, she is academically advanced and enough so to go to the 4 classroom, but they didn’t think she was«emotionally» ready to handle it. After that, I immediately started looking for a new center, one that would work with her and willing to work with her both on the academic level and emotional level. My daughter was scheduled to have her first day on 11⁄30. Her date changed to 11⁄23 when La Petite called me to tell me that they were(basically kicking her out). Want to know why? Because I wrote a letter to her friends parents, asking them to stay in touch with me for my daughters sake. The school told me that my letter spoke«disparagingly» about the school and I said well, you obviously didn’t read it and were misinformed because all it had was my contact info so that Abby had a way to stay in touch with her friends. So… if you want your child to be held back academically, it you don’t want your child to grow emotionally, and if you want to be an anxious parent every day about who is taking care of your child, then by all means, please, attend La Petite! Otherwise, RUNFARAWAY!

My infant has been going to LaPetite since she was 4 mo. old(full time) and we have been very happy. The head Infant teacher Ms. Debbie is so sweet and made us feel comfortable right away. I called every day when she first started and they all were very understanding & never made me feel like I was a pest/crazy mom :) The staff has really worked with us for her schedule changes, adding solids & sippy cups, and nap requests. All the staff we have interacted with are very attentive and will call right away if they have a question or any concerns. I have always felt like we have had communication & they listen to me. It’s very clean and I also like they have nice thick play pads on most of the floor(my little one seems to fall a lot when crawling and pulling up). The tuition payment is easy(we signed up online for an auto pay). They take her outside when it’s nice & always have fun games, songs. We get great pictures and crafts and I know my little one is having so much fun at school with her friends.
