Kiehl’s Since 1851

This place is great. I have been a Kiehl’s fan since I was a child (my mother worked for a company that had an annual gala where they would give full size products in their gift bags). In recent years I’ve become a bigger fan of another skincare line but Kiehl’s will forever hold a special place in my heart.
This store looks like it’s targeted to men only from the outside. The décor is very masculine yet very cool and vibrant. After poking around, I noticed the travel skincare line that flight attendants swear by. Since I travel here and there, plus my skin dries out very easily, I decided to give it a try. One of the associates ended up upselling me on another item in the line. I also added my name to their rewards list. Every dollar spent = a point. After 100 points, you got a bonus item.
They also have a recycling program. When you finish an item, bring it back to them and get a punch on your punch card. Once you hit 5 punches, you get a travel-​size item for free!

I thought I knew it all when it comes to Men’s skin care and shaving products. (I don’t)
Kiehl’s Since 1851? I walk by the store in the mall and it was, I swear in bright neon: «MENS SECTION»
Hot diggity! (I love it when stores cater to men. I’m a total fan of new hair & shaving products)
My all time favorite store is Sephora. Then Lush. Lush is animal friendly!
Well after my visit to Kiehl’s Since 1851, Lush can kiss my Tush!
I stopped in and a helpful salesperson starts talking to me about what I do for my daily skin care.
What does she think, I’m some slob in the mall, No! I’m friggin’ Billy Salts. I tell her that I shop at Lush and I’m out of after shave balm.
She tells me, Lush uses tea as an ingredient for soothing after shaving. Kiehl’s Since 1851 uses caffeine. You mean like Red Bull? Yup…
Listen, I don’t know if this matters but I swear after I shaved, I was brushing my teeth at 70 MPH!
I tell her about Kiehl’s Since 1851 under eye cream and does she have any samples. I tried it, Sephora has a better product. No biggie but I’m still a fan.
I’m reading about this store online, its a company that was started in New York City (Guess what year?) and they’ve been making skin care products, creams and hair product for over 100 years.
Lots of great new products to try and they are priced very competitively.
