Laughing Panda

I ordered bourbon chicken, general tso shrimp fried rice and garlic ribs. The only decent item was the bourbon chicken and the rice! Everything else sucked! The general tso chicken was stringy and and tough. We cut it open and it didn’t look like chicken. We were all skeptical about eating it so we tossed it. They charged me an extra three dollars for the garlic ribs and they were tasteless! Don’t waste your money here. The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.

My family LOVES this restaurant! The food is fantastic — they are always so nice and you wont wait long for your food. If you are looking for an awesome chines restaurant, look no further — you have found it here at Laughing Panda! YUM!

First let me say that this is the friendliest Chinese restaurant I’ve ever visited. The ladies who answer the phone are so pleasant and really treat their customers well. One time she called me just to tell me my food was ready. One time I ordered online and she called me immediately to let me know she had my order and to make sure it was all correct. When you go in they are smiling and ready to help. The food is great too by the way. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. The general Tso chicken is one of the best in the area and they give you a lot of it. Definitely check this place out of you want some good Chinese.

Can’t explain how much I love coming here! The little lady inside is so sweet to my girl and I. Great food, Great experience. I love coming here, and wish I could give her more business. she definitely deserves it.

I went here to get lunch togo. The place was totally empty at 11am. I was a bit scared about that. The woman who took my order was extremely nice. She even double bagged my food because I told her I was taking it to work. Super sweet.
I ordered Kung po chicken. It was a bit salty for my taste but had very good flavor. I asked for medium spicy but felt like it was mild. Next time ill get spicy. The portion size was great. I actually got 2 meals out of it. The chicken was all white meat.
I would go back to try something different. The inside was very clean. I think I might like this place.

OMG! Everything was hot, fresh and plentiful. Great flavor, REAL chicken and excellent customer service, my new favorite Chinese restaurant. So Damn good!!!

Ordered chicken pad tai that was super dry with very little chicken. Fried shrimps that was stringy and off-​putting, the cat liked it thought. sesame chicken was hard and dry also. will not be back

Wantoons and vegetable fri d rice were good. Vegetarian Buddha Noodles was one of the best.
Kids also liked sweet bread because it reminded them of Hawaiian loaves bread.
We were up sold which wasn’t a usual policy at restaurants we frequent.
Honestly, I would order the noodles regularly from this place.
Décor is remanent of where the family had Christmas Dinner in the Christmas Story.

Went with my neighbor Vinny and his girlfriend Teresa they have been raving about this place for long time.
Food is great generous portions with enough to take home. Our waitress Yan was absolutely wonderful, Friendly and helpful. I will be back.

After reading several reviews about this place we decided to give it a try. We went a little out our way as we do not live nearby but it was totally worth the drive. The woman that was working was so helpful and friendly offering advice on menu items. The amount of food you get for the price is impressive. One dinner and a quart of rice was enough to feed about four people it seemed. The food was awesome! Definitley recommend and will go back!

Generous Portions The Bourbon Chicken is Really Good. After going there Twice for Carry Out Owner remembered my wife’s and My name. It’s Always a toss up between Laughing Panda and Wong’s Fuh Wah which is near to us and we prefer Laughing Panda. Typical Chinese Restaurant like All But food was better Than average. I also recommend The Almond Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce extra fried rice if you don’t eat Egg Rolls.

Excellent food, generous portions. Reasonable price, friendly service.

Laughing Panda is by far the best Asian restaurant in the 734 area, possibly all of Metro Detroit. They are unique in the sense that they cater to the dine in (with their buffet) and carry out crowd. I’ve personally only had the carry out and it’s made me question what exactly am I eating everywhere else. The freshness, quality, taste, look, friendliness of the staff, literally everything (they even offer you tea while you wait)! This place is the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all-​time) I mean seriously, im debating if I should map out every other Asian restaurant I’ve been to and smack the owner in their faces and tell them to «get on Laughing Pandas level,» you need to give this place a test run, Rasheed Wallace once said «ball don’t lie,» neither does Laughing Panda’s egg rolls.

I have had a taste of about every takeout oriental restaurant in the area and Laughing Panda blew me away. The customer service here is exceptional. I have only ordered carryout but will eat inside if I have the time. Never have I ordered out and while I waited been offered complementary tea or drink.
The food was excellent. I have ordered the Orange Chicken (great sauce), Pepper Steak (gravy not watery) and a few other dishes. You get ample amounts if rice with the combination platters and the roll that comes with it is nice and soft.

This restaurant has consistent food flavors and portions. We are usually carry-​out customers, but we have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times. The experience in the restaurant was very good though.
We’ve tried my different dishes here, and all are very good & tasty!
I’d suggest the Bourbon Chicken, as this is one of our most Favorites! It’s just chicken pieces and a special sauce, no excess veggies or «fillers». The sauce is wonderful, and I love mixing in my fried rice too!
It’s a plate that I have never seen offered at any other Chinese restaurant though?
#2 Fav. — Cashew Beef — Hot Although, it’s never really overly Hot & Spicy.
The Asian woman (owner?), behind the counter is always pleasant and very accommodating with any special requests. A really nice person, and genuinely happy to see you too!
It’s a great little restaurant over all. The food is what keeps us coming back for more!

I usually drive 15 mins from my house to get Chinese food. Every place does it different and some places can be down right nasty, but not Laughing Panda the food was great the service was great. I now have a great Chinese place 5 mins away from my home.

Great food, feels like you are eating with family.

For some reason we have had a really hard time finding a good Chinese restaurant close to our home in Dearborn, Some friends recommended Laughing Panda to us and, although it was a little far, we decided to give it a shot.
The atmosphere was nice, with modern, classy decorations and good lghting. Our party consisted of 3 adults and 3 children so we opted for the dinner for 4. They were very helpful in allowing us to change out one of the entrees and made a great recommendation. There was so much food! I am not exagerating that we were all stuffed after having eaten about a third of it. The noodles and the General Tso’s Chicken were my favorite, although the almond chicken was just okay.
It was definitely a place to which we will go back.
