First of all, I went to three different places to try to get glasses: Davis VisionWorks, Cohen’s Optical, and Lenscrafters. I have previously gotten my glasses from Lenscrafters and tried to give them a chance again. I chose Lenscrafters over Cohen’s because Cohen’s was way too overpriced, and I was going to choose Davis [after my last encounter with Lenscrafters] but I thought, let’s give Lens a chance again. Bad Idea. I never call out people but this time, I had to because my experience was that bad. I was helped by two people. The first person, I wanted the lady to help me pick glasses because it’s hard for me to pick glasses and I wanted her opinion. I literally felt as if she was just trying to make me buy the most expensive glasses I had picked from my options. The second lady, Nadege, was the exact same way. First of all, her customer service was AWFUL. She was mean, stuck-up, and didn’t make this experience better at all. Second of all, she had such an attitude. I was so taken aback by it. I am actually going to call customer service for lens crafters and complain about her, because if that is how your employees are, I will never come back. I paid for my glasses and everything, but I regret my purchase and when I asked her about her return policy, instead of being accommodating, she was horrible about it. I refuse to come back here. I am this close to cancelling my order after my experience with Nadege. I am going to Davis Visionworks. They seem infinitely better.

My sister recommended that I try out Lens Crafters. I got an eye exam by Dr. N, and he was very sweet and thorough! I ended up paying $ 238 for an eye exam and contacts. Alittle more pricey than where I usually go, but the convenience in location and hours are a plus.

DONTGOHERE!!! DONTGOHERE!!! DONTGOHERE!!! If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would. I had a terrible experience and I will never ever go back. I went in wanting to purchase ray ban aviators. I had chosen to go to lens crafters because they make them there, and they’re lenses are half off when you purchase their frames. This young woman came to help me. I told her what I wanted as I walked over to the ray ban section. She brought over almost every aviator in the store. After trying all them. on, I knew I should stick with my heart and stick with the ray bans. She kept trying to convince me to get they Tory Burch. Even though I told her I wanted the Ray Bans, she was still pushing the Tory Burch and seemed disappointed that I didn’t go with her choice. Once I made my decision, it took her almost an hour to complete the sale because she kept messing things up. Then we got one the subject of the difference between the standard AR and Polarized. She was trying to explain to me that all polarized does is allow you to see color but it does nothing for glare and thats what the standard AR is for. In other words, if you get no coating on the lenses then you can only see black and white, like old fashioned tv’s. She then proceded to tell me that she only goes to davis vision because lens ceafters is so expensive and she likes being honest with her customers. Oh and btw she said all this in front of her manager. And i was never actually complaing about the prices. I even told her that i shopped around and they seemed to have the best prices around. That was around the time that I should have walked out, but my sister was convincing me to stay. We completed the purchase and she toldnmenit would be about 2 hours till they were done. I went back after an hour and 45 min, just in case they were done early. I was told it would be another hour because the machine broke right before they would start mine. I said no problem and continued shopping. When I finally went back, my glasses were ready. They asked me to have a seat as they brought them out. She. handed them to the optometrist, and thats when something seemed off. I looked at the glasses, and one of the lenses were sticking out about a good half inch from the frame. I. asked to see them and I noticed that the other side was about a quarter of an inch. I understand that my Rx is different in both eyes, but such a noticeable difference should have been told to me. When I asked them about it she was trying to make me feel stupid and acted like I should have known thats what they would have looked like. It was like wearing coke bottle glasses. I demanded my money back and refused to purchase anything else. I am moving out. of state next week, which is why I needed them same day. But that was 5.5 hours of my life I wish I could get back. I dont think many. people will havr as bad of an experience as I did, but if you can go somewhere else, I would. It is blatantly obvious that they do not train their staff correctly.

Worst than terrible. I went to the this location to perform a pretty simple task, an exchange. I walked out feeling like I had been beaten, but only with words. This store by far has the worst customer service of any place I have been to, quite possibly ever. The Manager Rebecca had no time to listen to my concerns. She was more concerned with walking me out the door than answering any of my questions. All she wanted to do was argue her point, never listening to what I had to say. She really tried to drive home the point that she was the manager and I was clearly wasting her time. Even when she spoke to another Manager who was aware of my situation and had sent me there, she still did not care to help me. At one point in the one way conversation, she told me that she was not going to bother her Manager with my concerns, and that whatever my issue was, it was above her pay grade. I wasted about an hour of my time with her and one of her employees Nina who was equally mean and exceptionally surly. I left her location, made a phone call, and in 10 minutes, my issue was resolved by the professionals at Oakley, the Manager at the Valley Stream LensCrafters store, and a rep there named Rudolf(Kudos to them). All I needed to do was perform an exchange. Oakley was going to pay for the new frame, and all that had to be done was to send my old frame back to them. Oakley was fronting all the cost, so there was no real involvement with the store, other than them being the delivery point. Rebecca had ZERO time to hear this. I practically begged her to just call Oakley but she refused. Even the Oakley reps and Lenscrafters reps at Valley Stream were completely taken back by her actions. If you like to have your glasses broken, then be berated by the very people who did it, visit this location. Rebecca, and Nina will surely not disappoint you.

Pitiful. Very unprofessional staff. Extraordinarily overpriced. Visited this location looking for a pair of glasses. Staff members are pretty inconsiderate and rude. A basic principle of customer service is serve the customer. Angelica was rude and argumentative. I will not be returning to any Lens-crafters. I use to go to them to get glasses, but now they seem to have taken on a «Jersey Shore» tv show approach to their customer service. Wont be going back.

I’m writing this review for my wife since my vision is perfect(ok, maybe I need to see a doctor too). The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and a kind. My wife was also impressed with Dr. Roberts. They get busy so arrive early. Oh and they are located on the lowest level.

Best eye exam I have ever had. Selection was ok, I like Oakley frames even though they are expensive. Busy store but they treated me fast and well. Courteous sincere doctor who cared more about my vision then the $$. Ill be back every year.

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever recieved and I work in customer service. The optomotrist is not only rude but incoherent also. So I had my eye exam there 6 months ago, they lost my chart and now that I want to order contacts im not able to and they require me to take another eye exam. Pure ripoff and when I spoke to the optomotrist of how they lost my chart she says goodbye and hangs up on me. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague unless you want to get eye exams every 3 months either billed to you or your insurance. The other lenscrafters optomotrist in walt whitman mall couldnt believe what she was hearing.

What makes this a 5 star review? The people that work there. I didn’t want new glasses, I needed them. The ones that I had were putting too much pressure on my sinuses. I went to Lenscrafters, picked out what I wanted and was told that they would be ready by the next day, if not sooner. Then I got a phone call saying they needed to order the lenses that I needed and it would be 10 days before I got them. I told them that I needed them now because of the problem the ones I was wearing was causing me, plus I was leaving for London in 3 days. The manager had a sales person drive to Brooklyn to retrieve what I needed from another location. What else can you ask for? Great service, great selection and a great place to buy glasses. Really enjoyed the experience and the quality of frames I had to choose from. I did not receive an eye exam here, though. I had one on file from another optomologist that was faxed over– all handled by their staff. Awesome.
