Del Taco

Went to this location at 9pm, I waited 5mins at the drive-​thru for service and then was welcomed with a very loud laughter over the intercom. (Obviously workers were having too much fun inside the store) I order chicken quesadilla and the #5combo (chicken tacos) was asked to macho size, so I did. I pulled up to the window, waited another 5mins, finally greeted by a woman who was too busy pre-​closing the ice cream machine, rather than acknowledge my existence. She asked if I wanted any sauces, and I asked for some ketchup. Stupid mistake, she gave me sauces in the back (that I assumed were ketchup and it was hot sauce…). Worst service ever!!! I saw her stuff my quesadilla in the bag, crushing it… I didn’t realize any of their mistkaes until after I got home with my food. Worst experience ever. I use to come to this location a lot. I do not understand what happened to management thus by far in terms of training their employees. I dislike you for making my experience a terrible one! :(

I love this Del taco !! The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is clean .the food is great, it is my favorite of all fast food restaurants

I work down the street, so I’ll occasionally come here when I feel like not worrying about my calories! I usually go through the drive-​thru and Alma is always there with a friendly attitude and a smile on her face. I am not sure if she is the Manager, but she really has great customer service!

Just here for a quick bite and a review. This location is situated in the Costco parking lot so expect some commotion. Although they have designated parking in front of the restaurant, it seems not everyone adheres to that program.
Anyway, the food is the same as any other Del Taco but the cashier seems friendlier than most. Always clean.

If I could give them less stars I would. As you can probably tell, I wouldnt expect high quality from a fast food restaurant but i would expect speedy service. Not only did they deliver on sub par food quality, but they took 30 minutes to get me my order. (3 soft shell tacos 3 hard shell tacos.) My hard shell tacos where slopped together and the shells were broken. I came here to eat for lunch on my break for work, but instead of eating here i now am late getting back to work and i have to eat my hard shelled tacos with a fork. I am never coming back here again and you shouldn’t either.

Not the worst fast food place iv been to but on my visit I encountered a girl at the drive threw window Vanessa? Well she has a stare that will poke a whole threw your soul. She doesn’t smile and is really blunt and I know a fast food joint isn’t your ideal job but still you applied there. I did notice that she was blunt with other customers in the building not really making eye contact .it’s not the worst customer service I’ve had but really Vanessa can you be a bit more jolly after all it is December haha. Food was good and the wait was a tad bit long yeah il be back… Maybe il get attended by the blond lady that is usually there.

This rating is for tonight’s drive thru order. I don’t appreciate getting home with my order and finding a handful of Del Scortchos, or whatever the heck you call them, when I asked for MILD SAUCE. Pay attention, it can’t be THAT difficult.

This was the only location I knew to sell the unsweetened passion fruit mango iced tea. They stopped because «nobody would order it.» I guess I’m a nobody then):

This del Taco is the most amazing one I’ve been to. The food is always fresh, the staff is very happy and eager to serve, and I come here regularly all the time and never once did miss my order. Wonderful experience.

The morning staff is very nice. I have never recieved a wrong order or bad service. I go out of my way to visit this specific location.

This Del Taco is always bright and clean. Even on taco Tuesday’s it doesn’t get too crowded and hectic. We were even given a senior discount once. No idea why, but we appreciated the laugh more than anything. I couldn’t believe that it could get any cheaper. I like how they’ve gone to leaving baskets of hot sauce on the tables. It makes it so much easier for someone like me who uses two packets per taco. I love that Del has expanded their «right price» menu items as well as their «epic» items. You get a nice variety of fast food Mexican with items that you would sometimes see from more authentic Mexican restaurants.

Being a regular here, I don’t recommend the beer battered fish tacos. They’ve always been quite awful but I keep giving them a shot when I see a coupon. To tell you straight up, they are gross every time but in different ways. Smelly fish, sour sauce, mostly batter and no fish. This time it was the cabbage. It was so horrid smelling, why would they use that? Maybe the «cook» had no sense of smell? All I could do was laugh and make a strange look as I pushed it off. Still ate it, whatever. Hopefully I don’t get sick from the remnants and that the «hot sauce» kills any bacteria living on them.

Best Del Taco in Orange County. Love all peeps that work there. Very friendly people. Lucie always remembers my name & knows my order. Joe & Alma Are Awesome too.

Del Taco was the place to stuff my face through the college years. How can I forget TACO TUEDAY! From time to time Del Taco hits the spot when I binge on a table full of little tacos half-​full of lettuce :-) ha ha ha…
It’s not the best food, but it’s cheap, fast, and quickly satisfies a craving sometimes. Just call my taste buds primitive, throw me in my man-​cave, and push tray of tacos under the door :-)

This review is in regards to two specific employees that work at this location.
First is the incredibly obese and unattractive female named «Christina». When a customer
simply request their change, don’t throw out an attitude when you are the one whom made a mistake, and did not complete a simple transaction. This isn’t Harvard law, no it is simple addition and subtraction, and is done automatically for you by the cash register. You clearly are working at a minimum wage job because your IQ is incredibly low, and a poor attitude to match it. When you ask a customer for their receipt to verify something, don’t throw an attitude and tell them «whatever ehy.» in your disgusting, & clearly fresh over the border accent. To improve yourself as a person, simply admit to your mistake and say «sorry», and correct it. I can assure you the general majority of people in today’s society will instantly thank you, and you can learn from your mistake.
The second is for «Claudia». I can’t count the number of times you have given off an hostile attitude, & refused to give any hot sauce, or make the food incorrectly. You look truly miserable at your job, and that is clearly your fault, so don’t take it out on the customers whom enable you to even be employed to begin with. You are clearly racist against people whom are not the same skin color as you, and those whom do not speak Spanish. You strongly emote the hatred and distain for anybody whom is not of your tribe.
I suggest both of you incredibly unattractive and rude women find a new job. There are many janitorial services within the area, and I am sure they would enjoy your lack of integrity & professionalism.
Shame on both of you, as you ruin an otherwise perfectly fine dining establishment.

I love Del Taco but we came in 20 minutes before closing and were told by staff that our order would be to go, because they were closing. There were 6 of us eating fast food, how long did they think it would take?
So they bagged up our food and again told us they were closing. In other words: get out.
We decided to sit down and eat. Then, because of the constant dirty looks, we decided not to hurry, as we would have done without the rudeness. They should be glad I wasn’t a secret shopper. Or better yet, their manager.
The drive thru remains open, and it is NOT LIKE we were keeping them from leaving.
So…I love me some turkey tacos, but HATE rudeness. So the reason we review a fast food chain is for service, cleanliness and experience. We already know what the food tastes like. This one is a one star location.

This Del Taco location is very clean. From the counter to the seating area, I’ve always had a clean place to sit down. The employees seem to be doing their job efficiently and the portions are decent as well. One of the things that I notice with some other Del Taco locations is that they give very little cheese with the nachos or smaller amounts of beans in the burritos, etc. but I can always count on this one to give plenty. I usually order off the value menu and get a jacked up BRC burrito for $.85, a $.59 red burrito and nachos, all under $ 3. Can’t beat that!

They’re always open so whenever I’m hungry after a late night gym session I could always stop by for some food. Service is pretty fast. But you get what you pay for. The quality of their beef is whatever’s. And the amount they put in each taco varies for some reason. They need to measure how much beef they put in each taco

I come here every week for a morning egg burrito. Staff is nice, they don’t skimp on the ingredients.
