My Viking refrigerator had many problems. I had another repair company give me an estimate of $ 2000! I called Executive and sent a picture of one of the problems. Instead of the $ 500 the other company quoted for a hinge replacement, I was quoted $ 30 for parts plus labor and a much simpler repair instead of replacement. When Shane from Executive arrived, he repaired the scheduled repairs and tweaked several little problems with both the freezer and refrigerator and both have never worked so well! The total bill was around $ 550! I highly recommend Executive Appliance Repair and especially Shane. He knows how to make repairs in a simple, straight forward, economical way.

Ryan McDonald, a factory authorized technician for Executive Appliance Services, came out to repair my Viking Oven today. He was able to identify the problem immediately, got the oven up and running, and ordered a replacement panel as my temperature settings were no longer visible. I was so impressed with his professionalism and the service call was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this company for their skill and expertise. Surelle K.

I really don’t understand how anyone can give these guys a negative review. Here is my opinion. They show up when they say. They call when they are on there way to your house. William is a true professional and talented technician who knows his high end equipment. They came out to do Viking recall repair and I mentioned to William that my oven was still have some issues with re-igniting. William said«the recall parts should take care of the re-igniting issue». «But if not just give us a call and we will fix it». The re-igniing problem reared it head again. I called and they scheduled a visit right away, and came out the next day. William did his magic and the stove /oven work amazing! I am highly recommending Executive Appliance Service. Not only do they address the problems that we called for, they recommend neat little maintenance tricks to keep your appliances running like new. Thank you!

Shane came out and installed a new oven door for me. He not only did an excellent job, but he showed me some things to do to keep my oven in good shape and helped me with some questions I had regarding its operation. I was very pleased with the service I received.

DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY. I am making this review on behalf of my mother who is 76. She called this company and reported that her Sub Zero refrigerator had frost in it. Their service person William came out, spent 10 minutes, charged her $ 135 and the frost did not disappear. There was a 30 day warranty and they did not honor it. This is a dishonest, unreliable and unprofessional company. They do not know what they are doing. She felt so strongly that the public should beware!!!

I have no idea which is worse… Executive Appliance or Dacor. I didn’t have a choice as the parts were under warranty and EA was what Dacor gave as certified installer. The 30 day warranty after service is ridiculous. Most other give 90 days. Earlier this year, I had some service done. Even with parts under warranty, the service was quoted as $ 1200 for a few hours work. Gouging? You bet ya! After about 35 days, the freezer started leaking and freezing water and now have to defrost every 3 weeks. I am terrified to call these guys again! The people are cordial but their business tactics are much less than desirable. Dacor is another joke of a company and I strongly suggest not buying their products with almost all facets of their existence not worthy of being ‘high end’. I’m shocked they did not die in the financial crisis but maybe their lack of investing in service and support saved them.

Our Viking refrigerator /freezer was not cooling and the ice maker was no longer working. The Executive Appliance repairman(Ryan McDonald) arrived right on time, made the repair in 1 hour, and charged exactly what he initially quoted. Ryan was quiet, quick professional and polite. I would recommend EAS to anyone in need of an appliance repair for which they are authorized service providers.

I am so happy :) My subzero was leaking. I called Executive Appliance I talked to Felicia she is soo nice and funny. They came out in less than two hours. Ryan was the service guy. He came in saw what was wrong showed me and fixed it. I know it’s their job but they really took care of me squeezed me in cause of the wood floors and bam it’s done. Thanks Zak for being a great manager and having such a good team. I’ve been using this company since 1997 it’s the only appliance repair I will use or need. Thanks again tons. Had issues before, Zak reached out to me to make it right. He apologized for the mishap and I had my repair today and the tech was on time, professional took care and adjusted everything after the repair. Zak did an follow up call to make sure everything was perfect. They took ownership and made things right and next time I will call them again for my repairs. Thanks Zak

Avoid these guys. I lost the broiler function in my Viking so I got them from Viking. They charged $ 130 to diagnose the problem — «you need a new motherboard installed.» OK, if that does it, then what choice do I have? After 3 weeks of waiting for the motherboard to arrive, William is back to install the motherboard. It’s $ 585 for parts and labor($ 195) but I DO get credit for the $ 130 I already spent to be diagnosed. I’m not buying Viking anymore either.

These guys are a joke. If you want a last-minute cancellation 2 hours before the appointment window, call them up and book. They will set up an appointment, call a day before to confirm it, and then promptly cancel the day of, after you’ve worked out things to take the day off work. Pretty much anybody else is a better deal.

After a few years of cooking with a wonky Viking oven and several repair visits from other companies Executive properly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Joe is the tech that came out on both visits. He was on time, very professional, neat, quick and friendly. Thank you Executive Appliance Services!

So. after having 2 diff independents to work on my Viking Fridge with NOLUCK! I bit the bullet and called Executive as they are a Viking appl. authorized repair facility. I will admit I cringed a bit when I was told min. service call is 100.00 which is almost double everyone else. Repairman showed at house 3 hours after I made apptmt. right on the time that was promised. Instantly new what the issue was. gave me a quote, which seemed fair, and fixed the problem! Fingers crossed the repair will work… and I will have no more issues with fridge. highly recommend this company. The olé saying is you get what you pay for! so far, truer words never spoken!

Start button– $ 43 Less than 1 hour labor charge– $ 185 The tech said they have a price list and do not charge hourly, hence the drastic price increase for such a simple repair. There are other Viking appliance techs available which I’ll be using from here on out.

Our SubZero of 20 years was giving us a temperature reading of 60 degrees which is 20 degrees too high, so I called my Jim Riddle number which turned out to be Executive Appliance. The scheduler gave us an appointment for the same day, Friday before Memorial Day and the technician, Shane, got here around 10:30 a.m. after giving us a call before coming. He quickly determined that the temperature control was the culprit after checking to make sure it wasn’t the fan – a $ 200 cheaper fix. Before leaving, he called his office to order the part and found out that the part was already ordered and received. The office staff would put it in Shane’s bin for a Tuesday installation. Because of the long weekend and the number of service calls still on his schedule, he would not be able to return until then. He showed me his schedule for Tuesday and there were already 7 calls listed, but he asked the scheduler to squeeze us in. Within 10 minutes of Shane’s leaving, the scheduler called us back with a Tuesday slot. In the meantime, an invoice arrived on my email showing the total cost of the part, total labor and credit for the $ 100 deposit I made. I also received a phone message later reminding me of our Tuesday appointment. Shane gave us the 20 minute anticipation call, arrived with the part & installed it. Installation was a little tricky because all of the food had to be removed from the fridge in order to install the part. Now the fridge is back to 40 degrees at the medium setting and without all the ice blocks we used to keep it at that temperature over the long weekend. Again, I received an emailed invoice with all the costs outlined and the bill marked paid. Thanks to Shane and Executive Appliance Services for an exemplary experience & for repairing our 20-year-old Sub Zero. And by the way, the first $ 100 did apply to the total cost of 443.14.

I didn’t know anything about this business other than someone said to call them when he couldn’t help me to remove my built in refrigerator so I call them and they were so nice and very very reasonably price(so much better than sears). This is a family owned business and I would use them again and would recommend them.

The 100.00 minimum that they tell you applies to the service total — in fact does not. Caveat emptor

I called for service last week on my Viking fridge… it suddenly wasn’t getting cold enough on the fridge side and the«door open» alarm was on constantly. The woman took my info and said someone would call me back in a few minutes. In fact someone did, and scheduled an apointment for between 2pm and 5pm that same day. At 3pm the technician called and said he was 20 minutes away. I went home to meet him. Along the way, a woman from the office also called to make sure I knew the technician was on his way. William showed up, shook my hand, came in and took a look. Within one minute he diagnosed a bad door switch, causing the lights inside to stay on creating heat AND causing the door alarm to go off. He said he may or may not have a factory switch on his truck and out he went to take a look. He was back in a flash with the switch. About 15 minutes later, I had a working fridge, a very reasonable bill, and a smile on my face. Let’s face it… no one likes to call for appliance service… but if you need work done, I’d recommend these people. My experience was painless and problem-free.

I have used them before for service and that is the only reason I am giving them two stars. I have now called them 7 times to have my fridge removed and I have yet to have a call back from Kevin. I was told yesterday that he was in and that I should receive a call within 5 to 10 min back. Now more than 24 hours later not a call back. I will never use them again.

Come what may do not use them. They do not have a definition for ‘service’ in their company policy. It is better to change your appliance than deal with them.
