From the looks of this place, you might start second guessing yourself about whether you turned into the wrong plaza for tasty Korean BBQ. It’s true, this place doesn’t have the look of other BBQ heaps, but it still delivers pretty good service and tasty meat. I’m actually rounding up from three and a half stars because there were some aspects I wasn’t completely satisfied with: 1) the lack of side dishes, this place had about four or five side dishes to compliment the slew of meat presented to us, but I missed the rice paper, cucumbers, and other foods that I had grown accustomed to at other bbq joints 2) it was a little dim inside 3) we had a tough time communicating with our waitress(korean bbq novices beware or just bring a korean speaking pal). Also, this place doesn’ t have vents for all those heavenly meat aromas, so(just as with other bbq restaurants) don’t expect to come out of here smelling like a rose. Other than this, I couldn’t complain. Prices weren’t too bad for the portions given. I brought my family here assuming that AYCE would be a waste of money and I feel like that was an accurate assessment. $ 49 for 3 meats, soup, rice, side dishes, and salad was by no means a bad investment fed my family(four of us) adequately. Come here for the homey feel and food.
